well.... there are a few quests that the quest npcs in them obivously lie and lead you into a trap , they even laugh while doing so and the player believes them

look at the end , its such an obvious trap yet you listen to him

 

How about Ash from pokemon, who is never able to reconize the Team Rocket.
Thats an higher level of stupidity
