If I Were To Make A Province...

    If I were to conceptualize a province, maybe make some quests for it, etc. What are the odds that it will be added.
    This is probably what I would do:
    Make province
    Decide where it would go
    Theme?
    Set of Quests
    Level range
    Weapons+Items from that area

    Edit: I am going through with it

    I'm just going to post below on what I've been coming up with

    Well, the devs already have enough provinces. They're making Fruma and Dern and that's final. You could either suggest ideas for these new provinces, or just new biomes/mini-provinces. But don't get your hopes up. Gavel just came out and its going to be a long time until they even work on Fruma or Dern.

    The odds are, unfortunately, very, very low.

    However, if you do decided to suggest or conceptualize it, make sure you think it over a lot. Also, add the Mobs and maybe what kind of builds and areas you'd find there.

    Well, to tell you exactly how much you'd have to elaborate:
    1. Make a massive province with detailed descriptions of each area, with example mobs to go with it
    2. Make a very descriptive theme about what it would look like
    3. Make at least six or seven very detailed quests
    4. Decide a good level range for both the player and areas, as well as mobs
    5. Make around 30+ new items.

    This is a very difficult task. Are you sure you want to take it up?

    Fruma and Dern are coming out in a few years, but I'm not sure it will end there. Maybe people hope that the server continues to grow and expand, which will make more areas to explore, more quests for us to complete, more of the story line will be relieved, and more everything (maybe lag too .–.)

    As for the actual thread, it will take tons of extremely detail descriptions for items, quests, themes, mobs, and way more. You can take the risk of using up hours of your time making something that will not be used or using up hours of your time making something that will come out but in a few years. (And by hours I mean days / months / maybe years?)

    Well, this is more like an assumption. I just heard Grian say that there would only be 3 provinces; not counting Dern.

    Name: North Korea
    Where it would go: On boat and it borders Gavel but you need permission from the North Korean government and they'll still strictly monitor you when you're allowed in
    Theme: uhhh government corruption, dictatorship, and communism?
    Quests: ex. you have to free prisoners from a NK concentratrion camp and help them steal all of Kim Jon un's cakes instead of having the citizens eat wood chippings.
    Lvl range: 101-170
    Weapons+Items from that area: ex. Kim Jon un's slave whip (warrior), and North Korea's nuke technology (archer)

    Gotta make it very very very very very very very very very very very detailed, and it still probably won't be accepted because gavel just came out and no one wants to work on the next province when we're still adding the rest of the content (namely level 90+ stuff) and patching bugs.

    Fruma is the province where the player comes from. There is one gate in the Ragni Outskirts (the place where you start) and one door in an unkown spot in Gavel. We do not know much about Fruma, except the player is from there. Common belief on the forums is that the problem in Fruma is "Taint" but that has not evidence supporting it.

    Actually, it is quite possible that they will make more provinces beyond these two. It's just that these are the only two they have planned.

    You see who that first person is, who liked your question? Ask yourself if those are some of the same questions that he probably asked himself, and I'll bet that they are. Besides all of the advice that everyone has given you, let me add one thing: keep a notebook and pen or pencil with you. Then, when an idea pops into your head, you can write it down, and not lose it. You can tell from all of the people who have and are working on WynnCraft that it's obviously a huge undertaking, but if you never try, it will never happen, will it?

    Well probably, you'd want to start with an overall story: What lives here, why are they here, who are they, what is their story, when did this story occur, how do they survive against what?
    Then, you could go for a theme (probably the "problem", ie corruption, decay, darkness, etc)
    From there, you'd probably want to decide on mobs. What they would be, how do they tie in with the aforementioned story, are they peaceful, hostile, neutral, how do they fight, etc
    Then, decide on quests. Does the fish king of Tyrannus City need you to stop the kleptomaniac cactus kin? Do these quests tie into the overall story of that province?
    Then, I'd say to go for Levels of stuff. Are your quests meant for earlier players or later ones? From there, you can decide the levels of monsters, and scale difficulty.
    Finally, you can decide where it would go, and what weapons you would get. There should be an even amount of each weapon type (spear, dagger, staff, bow) and an even amount of each damage type per weapon (fire, water, earth, thunder, air, neutral). Make sure there's also 1-2 weapons per level or every 3-4 levels to use.
    Also, along the way, sketching out theoretical monsters/items in a non Minecraft/cubic style could also be beneficial in the process as well.

    But, that's just my take, what do I know.
