Apokalypse Build?

Hey I just wanted to ask what is a good armor/skill build to use with an apokalypse? I know I should go for attack speed and meele but I have no idea which armor to use

 

Scorpio as boots
Leo as chestplate
Graves of veneer as leggings
Imo

 

Hmmmm..
No one else got an idea?

 

just go full out defence and fire armor

 

Like I say to anyone you should use "Vaward" as leggings (not in item guide). Level 99 with around 10% spell damage / melee damage and around 5 in all 5 stats. Has some other stats as well of which none are negative.

 

I'd recommend Virgo boots if you're wearing Leo, which is a good combo if you're gonna use apocalypse

Virgo would deflect and return most dmg, effectively increasing your dmg output, since you shld be able to take hits as a warrior. Also, with the mana regen, it acts as a safety barrier when you encounter fast moving mobs. You would be able to cast spells often enough to carry out crowd control. Leo backs it up since Attack speed isn't really a problem For a warrior, plus it boosts melee dmg, if I'm not wrong

 

Err... attack speed with Apocalypse? Attack speed I'm pretty sure is broken, and why would you waste most of your armour and accessories, which should be used on a defence build with a bit of stuff relating to the stuff the weapon has, on buffing your attack speed from Super Slow to at least Fast?

 

If by broken you mean overpowered, then yeah it kinda is! The damage is insane from a weapon modified to be very fast or super fast. For apocalypse though, I'd suggest they try taurus instead honestly. But with tisaun's proof and 2tier clockwork boots and a bit of raw spell damage boosts, the spell damage you deal would be really good.

 

No, I mean the fact that it is meant to boost your attack speed but instead boosts your spell damage.

 

That's just a byproduct of attack speed, though. To compensate for faster attack speed (thus usually lower damage values on weapons that haven't been modified by armor) it gives you a much bigger spell damage multiplier.
