So I was wanting to edit the Wynncraft Wiki, and I like to see what quests of Gavel have been completed or not. I typed 'Q', the first letter, and all I saw was this.
WHAT DA HELL IS THAT!?
About 400 more pages had been created... just for these ads. Well, let's see what they contain...

What is this? Why is it here? They were all made on the same day.

 

Someone screwed up the wiki, I think. Should get fixed...

 

They are spam bots, we have to wait for tama to delete all the pages they made

 

What happens when you don't have captchas and active moderators on the wiki? This happens.

 

NO WONDER WHY MY IP ADDRESS WAS BLOCKED. THIS GUY CALLED 'Thunder' WAS USING MAH IP ADDRESS. AT FIRST I THOUGHT I WAS HACKED, BUT THEN I REALIZED IT'S AN IP ADDRESS, NOT MY ACCOUNT. The guy was blocked for <smitespam>, apparently. Funny, when I first saw @Thunder , I thought of the forum member, Thunder. I thought he was stalking me.... :/

Your account was linked to the Thunder spammer... and my IP address was used by Thunder. I'm not a computer wiz, but I'm pretty sure IP addresses are domain specific? So that would include my house. So you are one of those creepy guys who hide inside a house and mess with the people who live in them. XD

Yep. Before the Wynncraft wiki said they were editing 500 pages or so. Now it's 900.

 

Tried to edit Tama's page, got this:



It says that my current IP address is 173.245.56.215. That is not my current IP address. I'm lost.

 

I can't delete them cuz my IP was blocked by a spammer. :(

Oh, and since it wasn't me, but an indirect user, I had only a 1 day block. Lucky me.

 

I don't know. I created the account using my gmail account. I checked my email and it said no one logged in from any other location. The IP address that says is not mine. I'm lost. I think I might have gotten caught up in something I shouldn't have.

 

Wow, well... that's gotta be a hacker, someone correct me if I'm wrong, but how'd the hell did that happen? IP addresses aren't subject to change, are they? Correct me if this is wrong.

 

I'm also blocked, and the bots are thriving... we lost almost all the active wiki members... Tama, pls help us...

 

Ip addresses are linked to your internet if I'm not mistaken, you ca.eck your ipv4 in command prompt by typing in ipconfig. There's a thing called a computer ip and then you have your internet ip, just google what your ip is for the computer and use command prompt for the internet one

 

uh. now the wiki is covered in spam. Every other 'RANDOM PAGE" is a spam page... :( Also being the noob I am how do you delete a thread? I currently just redirect the thread to a actual page
