Detailed "wynncraft Guilds For Dummies" Guide?

So, I know what a guild is, but there's a lot I don't know about Wynncraft guilds. I recently joined a guild on the server and I don't want to be a drag on the team, so it could help to have a guide for Wynncraft guilds.

Also, check the rest of the thread for detailed explanations (at least more detailed than how it is here) on each piece of info. (Seperated by bullet points)

Info So Far:

• /guild attack | to attack territories and potentially claim them.
• /guild defend | to purchase mobs that defend your territories.
• /guild contribute | to deposit emeralds into the guild bank that are used to buy mobs to defend your territories (see /guild defend)
• Your guild gain emeralds every minute for every territory you own.
• To create guilds, you must pay 5 LE to a guild master npc in Cinfras.
• The only way to pass leadership, is for the current guild master to leave the guild.
• There are ranks in a guild, each one gradually gaining more power.
• /guild rank | to change the rank of a guild member.
• /guild | to check all commands for a guild.
• /guild xp | to donate exp to your guild.
• Guilds will recieve a portion of exp from monsters killed in their territories.

 

There is a lot of info and gathering it all into one thread will be a drag.

Okay, so I guess I'll start off with this:
How do you claim towns/areas?
And
How do you protect them?

 

To claim territories a chief has to do "/guild attack" while he is in the territory. This will start a three minute countdown. After three minutes all of the guild members that were in the territory will get teleported to a war server. In the war server you will have to fight against the defending guild's mobs (0-1000 mobs). After you kill all of them you will get teleported to the lobby and the territory will be yours.
To defend a chief has to do "/guild defend" on a territory belonging to his guild. That will open up an interface that will allow you to buy mobs in exchange for the emeralds in your guild bank. You unlock stronger mobs as the guild levels up.

 

Okay, then, how do you deposit into the guild bank, and can you withdraw from the guild bank?

 

Do "/guild contribute" to donate emeralds.
You can't withdraw from the guild bank.
Your guild also gets an emerald every minute from each territory you own.

 

Is there a way to list which territories you own?

 

not that I know of. you do get a message when another guild takes your territory.

 

Okay then, how do you create guilds and can you pass on leadership if you are the guild master?
(Also, thank you for doing this, i really appreciate that youre taking the time to respond to these messages)

 

you can create guilds once you get to level 40, there is a guild master npc in Cinfras (right in the middle of Gavel), he charges you 5le (liquid emeralds) for creating a guild.
there is no way to directly pass leadership to someone, once the leader leaves the guild the ownership transfers at random to another player in the guild (or to the oldest player in the guild I don't remember). note that after this the previous owner can be invited back.

 

If the previous master joins back, does he gain leadership again, or does he become a "new member"? Also, are there ranks in guilds?

 

if the previous leader joins he wont gain his leadership back.
the ranks in guilds go like this:
Recruit

• Can contribute emeralds and XP
• Can join battles

Recruiter

• Can contribute emeralds and XP
• Can join battles
• Can invite new members to the guilds

Captain

• Can contribute emeralds and XP
• Can join battles
• Can invite new members to the guilds
• Can start battles
• Can rank members up to the "Recruiter" rank

Chief

• Can contribute emeralds and XP
• Can join battles
• Can invite new members to the guilds
• Can start battles
• Can rank members up to the "Captain" rank
• Can kick members from the guild (except the owner)

Owner (limited to one player)

• Can contribute emeralds and XP
• Can join battles
• Can invite new members to the guilds
• Can start battles
• Can rank members up to the "Chief" rank
• Can kick members from the guild
• Can disband the guild

 

How do you change the rank of a guild member? Is it a command?

 

Do "/guild rank (username) (rank)"
This might not be the exact command, you can see guild commands by typing "/guild"

 

How do you earn experience for your guild? Because ive killed a monster before and it didnt say "guild xp". Do you have to hunt in specific areas?

 

Do "/guild xp (percent of xp you want to donate"

 

If monsters are killed in a territory owned by a guild, do they (the guild) recieve a portion of that xp?

 

Yes

 

Is there a limit to the number of members in a guild?

 

They're is a limit, I don't know exactly what it is but when you create a guild it can hold a set number of players and for each level your guild gets it can hold more players
