Item Identifier Question.

So I went to identify an item at troms, and the identifier said that he would drop it on the ground as I did not have room in my inventory. I made room in my inventory, but the item wasnt there. I'm not asking for the item back, I was just wondering if this is a known glitch.

 

He drops it if you have a full invent so you need to empty out your invent,

inb4 replies "no sh!t sherlock"

 

But he didnt drop it...

 

This is a common glitch. Happens to me a lot. Just make sure next time you have space in your inventory! There's a no refund policy so you can't get it back.. sorry. Atleast it's not too big of a loss if it wasn't legendary right? :D

 

If he says he dropped the item look around the whole area, because the item can be thrown pretty far away

 

I tried that when I lost my stuff but I never found it ._.

 

well if the item is thrown on half slabs it goes crazy :/ so that could be it

Then it is most likely a bug

 

Sometimes the items end up on the floor above the identifier.

 

Keep these rules in mind the next time that you identify something.

1. If you are using only emeralds, you are safe.
2. If you are using emerald blocks, have an inventory slot open for any emeralds that you may get as "change".
3. If you are using liquid emeralds, have two inventory slots open; one for emerald blocks, and one for emeralds, that you will get as "change".

Just before I started to identify my first item, after Gavel came out, I realized that I would need space for any change that I got back. I believe that the identifiers will put your change back in your inventory, first, then your item(s). So, if you don't have inventory space left after you get your change, your item(s) are going to get dropped.
