    So I just bought a Maelstorm for a reasonable price imo now is there anywhere i can go to see what the best IDs for items like this are or any stats that you may know that i can base it off.

    The item guide on the website will list the average id's, from there you multiply by 1.3x to find out the maximum stat and multiply by 0.3 to find the minimum stat.

    Did they change it back to 0.7? It was changed to 0.3 fairly recently.

    Before the Gavel update it was 0.7, but if they changed to 0.3 I'm sorry for the false information.
    Can you show me where they said it was changed to 0.3?

    It was not said in the changelogs, but I can confirm this from my talks with Salted during item creation. Positive ID's can have their value placed anywhere between 30% and 130% of their normal value, while negative ID's can be anywhere from 70% to 130%.
