Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"What?" I prepare a shield made of the strongest known material, to repel anything that might happen.

 

"Probably. Bolts and arrows aren't fun."

"I... I don't know what I... I'm sorry... I figure I should at least say, my name is Xephyr... I apologize for not stating that earlier."
Xephyr backs up as the wall of ice melts.
"At least tell me if it's okay."

 

"The dragon?" I say, as my shield slowly evaporates.

 

"No, the source of pain doesn't really matter... and I could kill you. I just avoid conflict so... so I don't repeat mistakes. But that does not matter now..."
My hands start crackling with dark lightning.

 

"Yes... It is still alive, isn't it?"

"I suppose I ought to take my leave. Try not to kill Ihra in your bombardment of these... Well, I'm not sure, but they sure die fast."
She backs away from you, then uses bracelets of sorts as a propulsion to glide north.

 

"It is. I moved it to another place." I safely teleport the dragon back to where I am, as my power from the vial slowly begins to fade.

 

She looks at the hatchling curiously, trying to figure out what to make of it. She's faintly smiling.
"Is there no cold place where this would have come from?"

 

"Should we wait until they're here, or go weapon first into the front-line men?"
I wonder.
"Of course, we could always run away, but what's the fun in that?"
I smile.

 

I turn my focus to the army and I fly towards it. I hover within shouting distance of the army and shout, "Who is your leader?"

 

OCC: I was actually considering making a freezing place to rival Brisingr O.o Maybe I should try and finish that... It's called Aurorius probably. I dunno I suck at naming

"I could incinerate them, but I'm not sure I should do that with Ihra around..."

 

"I think waiting wouldn't hurt too much. We kind of have gods next to us."

They stop their advance. Everybody just freezes.

From what you can see, there seem to be two unified groups. One is Gargantuan, and the other seems familiar, but you can't place their alignment.
One man steps forward. Finer weaponry probably suggests 'general.'
"Well, who do we have here? Eras, I thought you strove to prove you aren't evil? In that case, why aren't you keeping these outsiders off this world?"

If you finished it, that'd be great (for Xephyr, mostly), but if you don't, what we hve so far is a lot.

"Well, if they have Ihra, that's an issue. If they don't, and I hope they don't, then I don't see the issue."
I'm still glancing around.

 

"Well, I, for one, happen to be an atheist."
I smile, jokingly.

 

"Vei wouldn't appreciate that." I smirk.
"Let Eras do what he wants first, then we can go from there."

 

"Got it."

"I am literally standing right next to you and you don't believe in me? Okay then..." I fly up near Eras to hear what they want

 

You recognize the majority of the soliders at once.
Oh, how you hate Gargantuan...

 

"I still don't understand why everyone believes they are evil. Last time I checked, I let people from all of the kingdoms go into my kingdom: Gargantuans, Brisingrans (OOC: I'm guessing this is what they are called?) and Emeraldonians. But when an army threatens something which I see as innocent, then... well, you know what happened to the Lost Kingdom."
OOC: Might post something in the Void Rift Report to do with Eras.

"Innocent? They're destroying our world! They've brought suffering to Brisin cities! They're waging their war in your world! Though, if you see them as innocent, make your case."

 

"There are two factions. One does not care about our world and will anything to destroy the other. The other, they are trying to find a safe haven away from the other faction. That faction is the one you see before you. They don't want to fight, they only want the fight to end so that they can stop running."

 

The general looks at the ground, then you.
"I'll trust you this time, but don't think this means we're staying defensive."
