Build A Rustic House, Inspired By Grian

Hehe. I built a house, in Grian style. :> Hope you like it



I still gotta work on the interior, though. I'm not sure how to improve the exterior, so if you have tips you're willing to share.. .please do :>

 

you made that? Not baaaad ;D You could apply for builder. I reccomend a little less leaves but thats just me. Looks gr8 m8 i r8 8/8 dont h8 m8 just let it be, its f8 ;3

 

Make leaves a bit more organised, make the path a bit larger, fill in that empty balcony, and lastly you used spruce log A LOT. I would suggest getting rid of some of those spammed spruce blocks and add intricate and cool indents & detail. Also I kind of dont like the contrast in between the log and the oak but these are all my opinions. Other then that it looks really good!!!

 

I almost built literally the exact same thing and submitted it for builder before I realized that I really didn't have anywhere close to enough talent OR time to be on the builder team.

hmm, it seems like the leaves are a bit too wild, unless you were going for an abandoned rustic house, in that case well done! But otherwise 8/8 i r8 m8

I don't know how people like you build so good. I try to follow his videos, and only end up with something a little better than before. I think I'm better at terrain. But then again, I don't think I'm very good at building period. Which probably the main reason I play RPGs. But I'm getting off topic. Point is, good build.

 

The roofs are done excellently. Love the minute details and main structure in general.
Brilliant job, love the vibe and can see a lot of talent here!

 

The roof is good, however the walls still need a bit more decorating. Also that deck needs some furniture on it.
Still, looks pretty good! :D

 

Yeah, I think I should cut down some of the leaves. :P thanks though!

Aw thank you :D But yeah for a long while I couldn't build that well either. It was a while ago, and I did learn from one of Grian's videos(though I don't remember which lol), and my first decent build, I nearly copied it block for clock. Later on I tried to NOT copy him, and I think i'm getting there. :P
Also I can't do terrain without worldedit. Nope. Too tiring. xD
