Test Item

I found a Test Item named "Test Chestplate 80"!
I was killing two types of mobs (Lost Drow and Mermaid) in a "Green Cave (w/ leafs, moss blocks and a Princess i think)", so i don't remember which mob dropped it.
I can use/trade/sell it? Or i need to throw away?

Noone is allowed to have this kind of item so please throw it away

 

This is a Bug currently, the mods encourage you to dispose of it.

That is nothing but bs.
When someone starts saying something such as "It is not allowed, nothing else needs to be said", "Because I said so" or "Because I decided to make it that way", then you know that they're saying it because they know that they have lost. You couldn't come with any good enough reason for making the players not keep their items, so you decided to just take the easy and "desperate" solution by answering with "Nothing else needs to be said".

And I explained why "It wasn't meant to be in the game" was a bad reason for taking the item away from the players.

It's actually a great reason... It's not supposed to be in the game, you're not supposed to have it, you were never supposed to be able to get them as a drop or from chests, please stop being stubborn about this because the rules aren't going to change - to address your points about them being "collector's items", that's one of the things we want to avoid with unintentionally-distributed items like these. Same deal why vanilla items are banned.

 

Dude, if it is an item that is not meant to be in game you are not allowed to have it, it's that simple, it's not some cool easter egg nor a collector's item and it doesn't matter if it is an over powered weapon or just some useless piece of wood.

 

So, it is illegal to get it? If it is, is it okay for me to trash the test item at Friday(I can't play until Friday)?
Also, is the mythic item really 1/10000chance? My friend got 7 of them from grinding for 2 hours.
(Which of he sold for Les. He got 30 stacks from it :/) I 'm asking you because he got hacksuated from several people and he got afraid of getting banned. Was he just Super lucky or the item got mixed up like these test items?

 

I am not being stubborn. Some of the coolest collector items are the ones that weren't even suppose to be in the game.
And the "You were not suppose to get this item" is not a good argument.

If the item somehow breaks the game or are being OP, then I agree that it should be removed. But if it doesn't do any harm, then why delete it?
The main problem is that it seems it is still possible to get these items.

 

I think this discussion is over. You have been given reasons for why you cannot have such items, and you have more than adequately voiced your own opinion. Nothing else needs to be said.

This discussion is definetly over since it is going no where. The main reason I use forums is because I like to discuss with other people, I share my opinion and then I get to hear what they say.

@Yuno F Gasai made a valid point about how he believes that even if someone puts a tiny effort into a thread then it should still stay open.

However, everyone who has replied to me here have just said the same thing over and over again. The reason I kept going was because I hoped someone would come up with a reason that was good enough that I would be satisfied. But I guess not.

I was about to make a thread about this topic, but i guess that it wont matter. It seems that your loyal community are going to follow no matter what you mods say and no matter how dumb the reason you're saying it is.

 

You're quite biased, are you not? Deeming anyone who agees with the staff as blindsighted loyalists? Treat the staff as authority akin to that in your area; show some respect. These items were never meant to drop when the update was released, and therefore should not be considered collectables. There's a difference between things meant to be and those that were not meant to be. Take the old adventure armor, for example; intentionally implemented into the game at the time, and now a valuable collectible as they no longer retain the same properties and have dwindled in supply. Is there something you simply can't comprehend here?

 

Here you want a reason: this item was a test item of the game meaning it was never allowed to be in the live version of Wynncraft. They don't want you to have this item because it is extremely overpowered and will ruin the experience of Wynn thus the reason they ask you to delete this item. So please be nice and follow the law enforcement.
