SPOILER Green Skins: Should They Really Die?

The green skins are green. Zombies are green. The player may have a low IQ. Player thinks green skins are zombies and assumes that Gavel is corrupted to.(Which is mot likely true)

But I have a question.

If you go to the orcs before doing the quests, before you have anything to do with the attempt to break the cease-fire, why do they still attack you. Are they perhaps trying to find a loophole as well by killing the human helping the villagers, but not them villagers themselves?

 

It depends on your point of view. From one perspective, yes they could be. But on the other side, Orcs always see you exiting villager cities. We assume that Orcs are dumb, and that's why they attack us. But theoretical it could be that the Orcs know that it's only a matter of time before the villagers try to use a loophole. Something I didn't really touch on is the Orc's intelligence. They talk funny and have barbaric ways, so we assume they are stupid. This may not be the case, it all depends on your perspective and open-mindedness. If they are they could make this connection between villager city and human exiting it, then they may know just how likely a villager is to use you. Or, they could just be trying to abuse the system as well.

 

They have a reason to attack you. The villagers are killing their leaders, try to control their population, orcs just don't trust anyone anymore. You come to their camps just to kill them, nothing more. The villagers signed a peace treaty, yet they still fight them, send adventurers to kill them. And maybe, they don't have anything to eat, except for pigs and villagers? Maybe the villagers started this war? Maybe villagers can just sell pig, and orcs won't attack them? We can't say for sure, because we don't know the other side of the coin. But for now, I'm pretty sure the filthy villagers started this war, with their greed for wealth. And if no orc-side quests will be made... It is a wasted opportunity for a good moral choice, like in Iron Heart.

Villagers are attacking orcs? No. No, they are not. Count how many villagers have been eaten by orcs. It's zero! Do villagers eat orcs? No. Would villagers gladly trade pigs with orcs for anything substantial? Of course! When the Humie adventurer, who isn't always known for making good decisions, was asked by a village elder to help obtain a peace treaty, the elder very clearly said "This is a Villager-Troll war." The villagers aren't at war with the orcs. From the very first time that a Humie gets anywhere near the orc village, the orcs are yelling out that they 'don't like Humies, go away'. Humies haven't done anything wrong to orcs. Now, villager's know that orcs and trolls are friendly with each other, so how do villagers go about keeping orcs out of the war? I mean, the filthy orcs are already hunting villagers for food! As if that isn't bad enough! What can innocent villagers do? Too weak to fight a war of strength against the orcs, the villagers use their brains! They ask a Humie to go and obtain a peace treaty from Gorku! What does Gorku say when the Humie gets near? "I SMELL HUMAN FLESH IN MY CAVE! FIND HIM AND KILL HIM!" That's an orc's way. Gorku didn't even ask why the Humie was there! He didn't care! Well, the Humie was strong enough to defend her/himself against this dastardly, unprovoked attack. Good! Does Gorku ask what the Humie wants, now? No! Gorku says "I SIGN TREATY IF HUMAN BEAT GORGU!" It wasn't enough that the Humie bested Gorku's guards? Now, Gorku, the mightiest orc warrior, wants the Humie to beat him, too?! Well, I ask you, did the Humie get the treaty signed? Yes! And it was signed after Gorku was defeated? Yes! Because Gorku would not have signed it if he had beat the Humie!

 

Well, I mean, lets not forget the factory, turning innocent villagers into golems against their will, there's also the "higher ups" of Gavel who sent the WynnExcavation crew in attempt to get godly powers to destroy Wynn. I mean those two factors alone proves not every villager is innocent.

 

Smoke! Smoke, I say! That is all internal politics among the villagers. It has nothing to do with the green skins. Where can any of that possibly justify the filthy orcs murdering and eating villagers as if they were mere sheep?!

 

I was talking about how you claim all villagers are innocent. I'm saying otherwise.

 

I don't discriminate! If the orcs try to kill me, I kill them! If they want to fight, I fight them! And even if they don't, I fight them anyway! (This is coming from a person who uses meteor on the Detlas Villagers because they have lower health than the Ragni villagers. But, I kill them, even though they don't fight back.)

Those innocent villagers are the ones who have 20000 health. If they ever decided to attack the humans, they'd probably be stronger than Qira. And also, they have magic. Meteor does 400% attack, and the villagers could probably use it, as they have magic in their realm. Also, magic doesn't use strength. Who uses a basic attack on anything when you can just call a giant meteor on someone's head? Also, villagers aren't innocent, finding a loophole through the system to attack orcs, and kill them. I assume there are different groups throughout the villagers, or maybe orcs, as the villagers are already in a peace treaty, but the player has to go and obtain one for the villagers. (I don't know what that has to do with the plot though. I get sidetracked a lot.)

 

So, you would condemn all villagers to death over the actions of a few? Is it OK to kill and eat a few villagers because of what some other villagers may or may not have done?

Alas! So you would condemn all villagers just because they have health that is magically enhanced? Are you not, therein, prejudiced against the villagers? As to any loophole used or not by the villagers, did they use such to justify an all-out war on the orcs? Nay, they did not! They asked the Humie to obtain a peace treaty from the orcs, rather than to break the cease-fire! And they did so, because the orc leader holed himself up in a cave and would not speak to anyone who was not an orc!

 

Yeah, I would. I kill anyone, if it is possible for me to kill them. Because isn't seeing things blow up fun?

 

I never said to condemn them for it, I was saying not all villagers are innocent. Which you are saying.

No, I have not met the Amnesiac Ogre, and given that it is an ogre, I seriously doubt that I shall take any delight in doing so. Whether you may say so or not, you already have, and if this Trump creature, whatever it is, is on the side of the villagers, how could it possibly be wrong?
