SPOILER Wynn Inconsistancies

Some parts of the old lore are outdated, and now inaccurate. This should be cleared up at some point in the future.

 

Your a mod. Send that request to the big guys. It would help everything so much to have it updated.

 

I'm pretty sure the "big guys" are already aware of it. I'll leave it to them to decide when and how to resolve it.

Maybe Nilrem dressed like Bob so people would give him more respect and follow his orders (I mean we don't really hear about Nilrem besides in Fantastic Voyage and the Sealed Letters) and everyone know the legend of Bob.
Maybe Bob likes to dress in all black? Could just be the family doesn't know the full story or has different versions of it.

 

So if you read my first bob theory (the things we skimmed over one, not the Dern one) I actually adress the issue of Nilrem pretending to be Bob. Seems not to far fetched... I dont think

And for the second one, yeah I guess the family might be sketchy on the details, its just both stories are so specific...

Yes, but in the sealed letters Bob tells Nilrem to hide the animals. So who gave the chicken? Bob or Nilrem?

Well at the end of Wynn Ex Site D, the king of Ragni rewards you and destroys the crystals, meaning he doesn't like Wynn Ex either.

Also the fact thousands of heroes every day are running around saving the world makes me think he's doing a pretty damn well job.

 

Lore wise theres only one hero. The player. Although that brings me to another inconstancy. In the one quest with the guy in Olux the shop guy ways the farmer sent 8 adventures already. Which actually might not be inconstant. But there are defanetly no more than a dozen.

 

I was just pointing out how game-wise that is what happens, lore-wise is almost just as good since he basically hired the next "Bob"

Also there is an NPC in Amsord called "Hero" so it is canon to have more heroes then you at the time.

 

Yeah I was thinking of that.

The hero is actually a reference to players going above the level cap, which HAS happened in Wynncraft history. But as well as the Hero, there are also people called "adventurer"s there.

Really? Idk Pale Grey is a lot different from Dark, and Man and creature aren't the same unless they're getting all philosophical.

For the multiple adventurers thing, the game acknowledges that there are other recruits and fighters, but you are the main character. The only time that multiple main characters are inferred is that one person alone can not open Bob's Tomb.

 

And the fact that the guy in merchant in olux says the farm guy has "sent eight adventurers to him already"

And the fact that we have Adventure and Hero mobs in Ahsmord

But still, lore point of view you are main character

 

Don't forget the slime quest in Almuj where multiple characters said they've had many adventurers doing this.
