    Hey man!
    It didn't work for me either, and whenever i asked someone, they'd say the same thing as everyone else.... But then, someone advised me to update the launcher. I did that, and i was all good, had the resource pack. So maybe try that out (:

    Have you tried going into your server_resource_packs folder in the .minecraft folder, and deleting all the contents, then trying again?
