Guide Wynncraft Abreviations

So I wanted to make a little list of abbreviations for Wynn. I hope this will help new players. Some of these are only like used by a few (or just by me) but most of them are used widely. Will edit as I think of more. Feel free to comment as I know I don't have them all.

• Emerald = E
• Emerald Block = EB
• Liquid Emerald = LE
• Tower Of Ascension= ToA
• Corrupter Of Worlds = CoW
• Wynn Excavation = WE
• Before Villager Arrival = B.V.A.
• After Villager Arrival = A.V.A.
• Temple Of Legends = ToL
• Tower Of Amnesia = ToA (If you use this, Tower Of Ascension would ToA2)
• Ancient Nemract = AN (Not used very often by community, but used by theorists)
• Unidentified = Clean
• Identifications = IDs

 

I know many players that call the tower of amnesia toa (it did come first) and the tower of ascension toa2

abysso galoshes is a thing... you act like there part of lore, and you do a quest resolving all around them for like 3 quests...

 

For some reason they have popped up in multiple threads recently. So why not abbriviate them (I used the abbriviation in my threads)

 

Keep in mind that abbreviations should probably be things that players already use, I have never seen Abysso Galoshes called that.

But hey, if we're gonna abbreviate Abysso Galoshes, might as well abbreviate every other item with more than two words.

She meant the abbreviations on the list should be ones we already use. Nobody uses AGs anywhere, they just say Abysso Galoshes.

Typically, yes, but since it's guide, if people start using AGs it will confuse everyone who doesn't use the forums, which is a large portion of wynncraft players.

...come on man, just let him do what he wants... it's not like this is something terrible.

 

I understand that he's allowed to do what he wants, and I'm not stopping him. I'm just suggesting he doesn't use an abbreviation that may end up confusing players.

I mean, this thread will not help veterans in any way but will surely help newcomers! :D
