Guide Oya's Clock Mage (strongest? Mage Build)

Today, I will be showing you my mage build, which goes by the name "Clock Mage."

In the light of all the mage build wars going on at the time this is posted, this is the real deal.
If you thought X mage build was good for damage, you'll change your mind.
When the Jester Set bonus gets fixed, this build will break Wynncraft.

This build is also relatively cheap, not as expensive as some.
Lv. Min: 94 or 92 depending on if you want to use Aurora

*note: identifications will vary based on personal luck and dedication to RNGesus
**note: all the damages that will be estimated will be with the listed accessories, not jester gear.

Here's a bit of insight on why I chose Clock Boots.
Attack speed basically adds to your spell multiplier by a pretty hefty amount.
This build works best with weapons bearing Fast or slower attack speed.

Ring 2:

Spoiler: Quartron's Eye(replacable with another Aurora, recommended to do so)

Bracelet:

I'm not sure if said amulets with 2/2 mana regen are obtainable anymore.

*NOTE: ALL ACCESSORIES EXCEPT FOR 1 RING CAN BE REPLACED BY JESTER STUFF ONCE THE SETBONUS IS FIXED, FEEL FREE TO ADJUST SKILLPOINTS

Weapon:

This is pretty versatile. I recommend Lunar Spine because the build caters to its needs well, but anything with a FAST attack speed or slower can work, as long as the requirements are met.
What I use:

It'll be better once powders come out

Skill points:

Spoiler: Complicated maths incoming Kappa

STR: Amount subtracted by Clock Boots + 8(for Aurora)
DEX: 40 for good measure(can be less depending on your +dex ids, 40 is assuming you have +0 extra dex)
INT: Whatever's left over
DEF: 8(for Aurora)
AGI: 40 for good measure(can be less depending on your +dex ids, 40 is assuming you have +0 extra agi, can be 10 less if you don't plan on using Lunar Spine)

And now, for the damages:

*note: all damages recorded with my Lunar Spine, I was also able to deal this much with Ethereal though(xd)
Meteor normal range: 10k-13k!
Occassionally up to 14-15k thanks to the afterburn
Teleport range: 3-4k?
Ice snake range: 2-3k

***RESULTS WILL VARY WITH ELEMENTAL DEFENSES/WEAKNESSES

Damage: 6/5
Health: 3/5(~8000)
Healing: 3/5
Mana sustain: 5/5(can probably go up to 12/4s mana regen with good ids, I personally have 10/4s)
Mobility: 4/5(I personally have 24% walkspeed with this build)
Defense: 2/5

What's broken about the Jester set? That kind of "lol nope full set gives you shit" is intentional.

Wait quick question... so jester set bonus doesnt give 300 spell dmg right now? once it does will u make a new dmg test with the jester gear on?

 

can confirm this build is amazing so far, I don't have jester stuff yet so I'm just using random rings + watch bracelet + royal stormy amulet, but I still hit like 7k-8k damage per meteor with a decent Ethereal wand. too bad my clockwork boots all got +1 tier attack speed ;-;

I've mentioned this before but I think clockwork leggings could be a good choice over crystal, of course the mana regen on crystal is great but clock leggings give around +20% in both melee and spell damage to help counteract the boots, my boots have -26% spell damage and my pants have +27%.

EDIT: percent spell damage isn't bad...I have 100%+ spell damage with my armor, and its not even max spell dmg stat.

Define "best" in this situation. If "best" is "strongest" then yes, it is the best. I'm probably just bull shitting though.

A question, would this build still work if I replace the soul signal with an Aquarius?

EDIT: Okay, disregard that. I do intend to follow this build, with a few alterations. First, replacing the Aurora with a Clockwork ring because:

1. No skill point requirements
2. Extra spell damage
3. More clock set bonus

Also I recommend using 2 wands, a primary wand (Ethereal or Lunar Spine) for spell casting, and a secondary wand (Bob's Mythic) for basic attacking and/or water immune enemies.

 

I belive that the pants give -1 tier attack speed which makes the boots useless. Also one question when you use this build whats the mana like? is the regen strong?

 

My pants do not reduce attack speed, they reduce walk speed slightly and some other clock pants will have -1/4sec mana regen only if you get a bad roll (maybe the attack speed is lowered on bad id rolls too idk). The mana regen is decent, I think it's around 5/4 or 6/4 with 1/2 mana steal from either a ring or a necklace.

 

And where's the good amount of walk speed?
