Why Isn't Wynn More Popular Than Mineplex?

Wow. Okden. That thrusted my hate for mineplex even deeper into my hatred pit.

 

My guess is that not enough word is spread about it/hardly any Youtubers make videos on it. With Mineplex, there are tons of Youtubers making videos on it.

They made it before the awesome map update though. They actually got me into wynn. Wynncraft would get more people if there were more wynn youtubers

It's true, most young players start of on a big minigame server like Mineplex. I did too. I made friends there, became part of the community, hell I even became staff there. I did enjoy my time in that team, but hey I moved on to this community. I feel like this community is more mature and a closer community. I really love being a small part of it now, eventhough I still spend my time on Mineplex. Biggest reason is because I still have tons of friends there.

I think the reason why Wynncraft is less-popular than Mineplex is because Wynncraft is just... Hard to learn for the young audience that Minecraft has. When I introduce friends to Wynncraft, they don't play more when they reach lvl 10 because they just feel like it is too hard to learn and to understand.

When I saw this though, it kinda shocked me. Not because it is "nerdy pale kids going to a gaming convention that are part of an immature minecraft staff team", No it is because I am actually in this picture.

I read the replies on this thread, and hey I think it's kinda funny. Of course nobody could know or even care for that matter. It's just... I know these guys. Harsh things are being said (which most of them are common logic) but most of them are just straight up harsh.

Come on, you have no clue about the personality of these "losers" but just because they are wearing a Mineplex T-Shirt they must be idiots?

Whatever, I totally understand. Nobody knows these guys so why care. Don't worry, I won't call you out on it, I'm just trying to get a small point across. Not even sure if it worked out a slight bit because I am really tired and really cold right now.

I do still love this community anyhow.

TL;DR: I'm on the picture - I agree that mineplex community is worse than this - I used to be staff and know these people are nice - I forgive

Yes, I quite love it too. Especially Smash Heroes, Paintball, and Skywars.


As for what you said about TKR, yes, it DOES need a miracle.
-Change kart's movement
-Make it so you can't "cheap drift" just to rocket yourself a lap ahead of everyone else (know what I mean?)
-ADD MORE TRACKS POSTHASTE

The true reason why WC isn't as popular as many other servers is because it lacks advertising. Grian's channel has announced it which brought a lot of new people to WC (incl. me) and so has CraftedMovie. Minepickle had AdmiralSprinkles (lol dat fake name doh) supporting and playing it, and Hypickle had Hypixel the builder of great adventure maps creating it. YouTube is one of the best advertising platforms for games, and so all we need to do is record ourselves playing WC and MrSeb and Hippie just need to gather more subs (just do what you're doing, 'cause you're doing a great job!).

 

Ok so everyone instead of saying Mineplex sux, say that Wynncraft is a great so we can be a better and more respectful crowd like @Salted suggested

 

Actually, fun fact I was introduced to wynncraft when Gizzy14gazza did a short showcase of it.
I believe MunchingBrotato also has a wynncraft series.

 

I don't think even the devs like TKR. It was good at first, but I think the devs are just purposely ignoring it by not updating it and all
