What Exactly Is Mana Steal?

Im really confused as to what mana steal is.

 

Every hit gives you the amount of mana defined by the ID.

I'm curious about this too. Would 1/2 give you 1 mana for every 2 hits?

No, it is 1/2s, So if you hit sometihng. You will get one mana per hit (Like arrow storm, its every other one) 2 seconds later. Its very overpowered

Mana steal steals mana

 

If you have 6/2s mana steal, you will receive 6 mana over the course of the next 2 seconds. At least, I think that's right.

 

Idk if it's 6 mana over the course of 2 seconds, or 6 after two seconds?

 

oh idk maybe you steal mana mobs? (mana is your hunger bar)

 

Huh? My arrow storm's 60 arrows with mana steal 2/2s don't even give me one full point of mana though. Shouldn't I be getting 120 mana?

 

It's like, take that you have 2/2 mana steal. As Long you keep hitting something over 2 seconds, you'll get 2 mana

 

That sounds exhausting.

 

But it's especially useful in boss fights, also if you're a Mage or a knight, where you need mana to maintain damage output.
