Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"A well? Show me. This can't compare to me at all."
She etchs a glyph in the air, and moments later, a sword emanating dark energy forms in her hand.
"If people fear you, you ought to have a good show."

 

"Hmm... wasn't planning on this... I guess the crystal may be slightly weak to fire... but if I make the Infernal Beast smash the crystal... well, Ihra isn't great with fire from what I know..."
"Tupiq!" (Stop!)

 

It obeys, still standing near the crystal.

In stereotypical fashion, Nyre shows.
"You just smash it. And her." He laughs, shooting the Infernal Beast.

 

"Or I could try smashing you instead. Or I could choke you... Hmm, medium-choked trick-filled draconian sounds nice. Maybe if I boil you a bit..."
"Jofsim Ceftu (just realised what that sounds like... oh well) ! Buudl ijn!"
I then reach for my tome and create a choking cloud of darkness and make it follow Nyre.

 

"Deal me more cards. I dare you to give me the winning hand."
The Infernal Beast disintegrates and the cloud is consumed by another bolt.

"Rise!" He yells, pointing at the crystal as four other Infernal Beasts materialize from nothing and charge the crystal.

He throws a smoke bomb, and you quickly lose sight of the summons and Nyre himself.

 

OOC: I'm pretty sure Nyre is the Fragment of Greed, since he copied my abilities.
"You can summon Infernal Beasts... impressive. Draconians keep surprising me..."
I then create a large cloud of darkness. A very large one. I make it cover the whole area; me, the crystal, Nyre, the Infernal Beasts. I then chant.
"Efwpvsfst og uif Tuft! Egfoe uif Dsztum!" (Devourers of the Sea! Defend the Crystal!)

 

The Infernal Beasts are quickly killed. Nyre, however, can't be accounted for.
One Devourer disintegrates. The only trace is a bolt lodged in the crystal.

 

"So... I'd better go back. If Ihra's seal is fine or becomes fine, I'll leave her alone." I teleport to the surface.

OCC: @Devourer My quote doesn't seem to be working, but my anger has nothing to do with my past. I'm just being a stereotypical fire goddess (because fire is hard to control I guess)

 

"Just be wary. Nyre picked up a few new tricks."

Ihra is in a crystal. It's a bit fogged up and has a few chips and scratches, but otherwise it seems fine.

 

"Then it could be a number of things, but at least it isn't as dangerous."
I whisper back.

 

"I'm offended and in agreement at the same time. Enjoy the benefits of doubt."
I unsheathe my rapier. It radiates a dark aura, and I start scanning the area.

 

I start looking around as well, trying to see if I can spot anything.

 

It doesn't take long. You spot a wolf in a clearing, looking your way and slowly creeping back to cover.
"What... Never seen that thing before."

 

"Nor have I, then again..."
'I haven't really lived for that long' I think
"...it doesn't seem hostile."
I say, continuing my sentence.

 

"It doesn't seem to be alone, either. Few things do."

 

"Unless it attacks us, I don't see why we should fight it. Let's keep moving, but be weary of attackers."

 

"Fair point. I think we're almost there."

 

I continue to head towards where the plume was.

 

"Hmm.. Well." Aforl forms a deep-purple orb in his palm, then throws it in a random direction, where it explodes, leaving a small crater in the ground. "I am capable of SOME things, you know. So, should we go there?"

 

"You lead. If it attacks, I'll kill it first."
Heavy midnight blue armor materializes over its robe. She looks at you, waiting for you to make a move.

"We're getting close, I... crap. Someone scared Ihra."
