Experience Per Level

Okay, bit of a tough question here.

How Much experience do you need for each level?

This is going to be a group effort, so for people who are just lvling up, and at a level that they can measure, i would like to know.
Ways to calculate could include counting the xp from each mob and grind an entire level (recommended for lower levels like 1-5)
Count the xp from completing quests, and see how much it fills the bar, then do some math work.

As well as this, if people also want to include their favourite grinding spots for each level, we can add that to the list.

Okay, so as people find out, comment, and ill edit it to be in the main post. Hopefully, we can eventually get a full xp guide on the forums.

Lets do this.

Level 1: 100 xp
Level 2: 180 xp​

 

Dear god... good luck doing this, it sure is going to be hard!

 

I have no idea how much XP you need for each level, however I know that you're gonna need about 12M XP to get to level 100.

 

The staff got a document with all levels and how much xp you need to rank up btw ;)

 

i kinda guessed that, but as far as i can see, they haven't released that info. It would be really helpful for people who are trying to lvl, to know exactly how much xp they need.

Edit: Even the wiki only says "The general amount of experience you need in order to level up can be viewed on your Character Info screen as a percentage of how much your EXP bar is filled up.", and the wiki gets updated a lot.

 

We can't have an exact number of the xp needed for leveling, but yeah we can make assumptions of how many you need.
Getting from level 1 to level 2 needs exactly 100 xp tho =u=

 

I think you might need some High Prestige GM's or admins to answer that question. I was wondering the same thing a long time ago, just gave up trying to find an answer.

 

The staff have said they have a list (cough @Ackro) but they won't post it even though so many people want it, nor will they tell us why they refuse to tell us!

Okay, so from a series of tests, I've obtained these results:
From level 1 to level 2: 100 EXP (8 EXP = 8%)
From level 2 to level 3: 170 EXP (85 EXP = 50%)

So putting these all together, makes the formula:
EXP = 100 + (70 * (Level - 1))
Level being the lower level (From 1 to 2)

Meaning that, to complete level 80, you need:
100 + (70 * 79) = 5630 Experience????
That's roughly the amount you'd get from Sister City, a level 28 quest.
No. It can't be. This means there must be some hard-coded point in which the experience formula changes.

I think this change point happens between levels 5 and 8. Why, you ask? Here is the experience from two quests:
Cook Assistant, Level 4: 180 EXP (Ignoring Spider Cave (Lv. 5) because it gives even less experience).
Underwater, Level 8: 800 EXP

At level 4, you are given 180 experience, which is a bit over half the experience you need for the level (310). At level 8, however, you are given nearly 160% of the experience needed at the level, according to the formula (590).

It might require a bit more testing to figure out the formula for levels 10 and higher.

 

Level 86: About 3750000 exps

Ah, I would have expected a mild exponential formula. Well, one could probably come up with an exponential formula which works from 20+, and is roughly the amount of XP you need.

 

The last few levels take a couple million xp to level up. I'm not even kidding, in the low 90's (I forgot exactly which levels to the next) were 6.5 million to level up, and the next 7 million. If I remember correctly, 99 to 100 was 12,250,000 or 12 million 250 thousand experience points. So basically, if you want to grind in the level 80's and 90's without quests being done, might as well say your goodbyes to your family and friends.

 

This looks pretty old but I have come to wonder this myself and found this as like a compass point. However I did my own (very rough) calculations. Here's what I came up with:

I am at 83 going to 84 and started pretty much at 0% (Though I can't be perfect with that as we don't know any numbers.)
I was killing the Gargoyles with and output of roughly these 8 numbers:

• 1550 (14x)
  
• 1575 (12x)
  
• 1600 (48x)
  
• 1650 (41x)
  
• 1675 (10x)
  
• 1700 (81x)
  
• 1725 (8x)
  
• 1750 (2x)

Also, I had a mission that gave me 70,144 in total.

Adding all of these up I got 426,944 which equated to about 15% and (after doing some more math) found that it took approximately 2,846,293.333 XP to level up.

BUT...

This is only a pre-estimate. I will go through the same process the whole way and see what number I get. I know it had to end up somewhere with a 00 at the end so I know this is not correct. This is just a ball-park guess. I hope someone can either point me in a better direction or help me along cause as much as I want to know, this is an grueling process...

 

We can find the average of each level using the tower of ascension. Get the average xp you obtained per kill. Collect every shard drop. When you level up, multiply your average xp per kill by the amount of shards. If we all really wanted to find out how much xp per level it takes, we can organize an event. We assign one player to 1-5 levels. Lower leveled players calculate more levels, and higher leveled players do higher levels.

 

Still haven't even said whether we can have the chart or not :p

Update:

At 40% with a grand total of 1,149,394 XP. This brings the total again to 2,873,485 XP.

(FYI I will add new numbers for a median at the end. The other two numbers will be when I hit 60% and 80%)
