BACKSTORY OR SOMETHING IUNNO:
Humans have disappeared from the galaxy long before any other planet even yielded another intelligent species. They've simply disappeared without a trace, except for all the traces of earthly creatures on other planets, and the flora. Monoliths were placed on some of these planets by the humans. These monoliths uplifted some species. One species was far at the bottom of the food chain, only able to eat small animals without injury. This species grew to hate any other living form of life other than itself due to it's unfortunate upbringing... It called itself the Grox, and was surprisingly primate at the end of it's evolutionary growth spurt. Other species followed after the Grox. Some were social and freindly, some would kill you on sight, and some just want your money. Most of these species were fairly advanced both physically and mentally, but the Grox's minds are their strength. They were extremely smart and dominated the center of the galaxy to keep anyone from getting in- or out...

THE GAME:
This forum game is an interdimentional portal between my two favorite forums, the Wynncraft Forums and the Sporum. Perhaps you'll find an interest in these forums or their games (or addition to a game in the case of Wynncraft). Basically- if something happens on the other forums, it is a part of this forum game's canon. Speaking of which- Any canon on the Sporum's forum games is irrelevant to this one, and the previous Wynncraft forum game I made (Interstellar Conflict) doesn't really matter (even though it's in the same universe), however I may have callbacks to it towards the late-game. The spore canon (AFTER the humans) is still full canon in this game, as a literal Spore roleplay.

No powerplaying (Don't make yourself the ultimate being of all universes or something)

HOW TO PLAY:
First, make an application (Above). Once I approve of it, you can start playing! Basically, the post-human currency is the Sporebuck (as seen in Spore). For the sake of the roleplay, you can abbreviate it to SB. These can be used for goods and services. You start off with 100,000.
Basically, your main source of income will probably be Spice, seen in geysers in most planets (http://spore.wikia.com/wiki/Spice).
You will always start on a Red Spice planet (which also happens to be the least valuable.)
You can buy things from certain archtypes cheaper or more expensive, so I recommend looking up both your archtype ant other people's archtypes. These items basically work in the same way that they do in-game, so if you're interested in it, look it up on the Spore Wiki.
To unlock new things to buy, collect badges http://spore.wikia.com/wiki/Badge . Yes, if you break the rules, you will get the joker badge.
How to find other planets: "I look around" or something like that. You may encounter another empire like this, or find valuable Purple Spice planets! You can name these planets.
You will always start without knowing any other empire.
Unlike in the real game, you don't control a single starship, you control the entire empire.

Spoiler: Crystagon - Dravern

Species name+Description: Crystagon (Xenosiamosaurus lasaurus)
The 'Wings' are artificial and used as multi-purpose bases for modules)
(Pre)History: A family group of Siamosaurus were placed on a planet with a monolith and lots of fish. They evolved into numerous giant horrifying monsters- from the Gigarcke to the Siamopteryx. One species developed a hard, crystaline casing around their sails. That conducted heat well, but forced the Protoxenosiamosaurus to start to gather crystals to sustain their growth. This also forced them to be fairily small (3m long, head to tail (1.5m long body). Oddly, they developed into a fairily weak species, except for their intelligence, which is above average by a longshot. They grew into a hyper-sentient species, making themselves less and less organic. Eventually, they realized that they needed to turn to space- and so they did. However- they are total brown-nosers and love to have fun.

Species name+Description): Vironus - Corratrim erulus. Generally dark and fuzzy. They have pointed horns and walk on four legs, have long snouts, sharp claws, and short whiskers.
(Just picture a cat + goat + dog)

History: The Vironus's evolved alongside another species, the Nedlalius. When both species reached their final stage of evolution they instinctively attacked each other.

The Vironus banded together into packs, while the Nedlalius fought alone. This allowed the Vironus to tip the scales and eventually win. They hunted and developed, but there wasn't enough food to sustain them. Not wishing to stoop to cannabilism, they decided to hunt across the galaxy.

You find:
A blue giant with both a blue and a green spice planet. The blue spice is far enough away from the star to develop life, and the green spice planet is too close to the star to naturally form life.
A red dwarf with a yellow and pink spice planet. The yellow is too hot, pink is too cold.
Your empire develops a colony-placy-thing for your spaceships, but you still need a colony to do so.
A little blue light with a radio dish symbol and a frighteningly loud ringing noise activates. Something wants to make contact!

 

I answer the contact.

 

"Krdreedeeaachtioncit areOOOdla antsupernintendoieroo!"
Sounds vaguely like a bird? It also has a sort of mechanical voice along with it.
(Turns on translator)
"Who the heck are you? Do you want my money?! We aren't that rich! Please, tell us what you want from us Crystagon!"
The static on the SETI display disperses, showing the Crystagon (see my empire)

 

(O.o I sees that. And I might be responding wrong, no idea.)

"We want food. That is all." I snarl

 

"We have fish! Lots of fish! And some poultry, but mostly fish!"

 

"We don't want your fish. Give us all of your poultry or we'll eat you instead."

 

"OK! OK! Fine! Please don't hurt us! We have..."
There's an awkward silence as his facial expression changes from frightened to a mortal terror.
"We... We don't have any... Uh..."
Loud yelling can be heard in the background as loud machinery seems to boot up. The lights turn from a comforting yellow to a pulsating red as the diplomat runs away from the screen. Your ship detects another starship seemingly observing it.

 

I reach out to try and contact the other ship.

 

There's the ringing sound again. They want to communicate more.

 

I answer the ringing. (Or whatever)

 

"Ma'am, sir, or whatever you are, put the weapons down."

 

"First tell me who you are, and give me an acceptable reason to do that."

 

"You threatened us. Please, we mean no harm. Find food.

 

"Grr... Fine. I bet you taste terrible anyway." I growl

 

"Thank you sir, so much! Have 5,000 Spore Bucks as a token of our gratitude!"
Now we have 95,000 sporebucks.
Now you have 105,000 sporebucks.

 

"Ehm... You're welcome. Best of er... years."
