Just found out that there is a mythic wand which is pretty much perfect for my build... I have to find this wand... (110 intel needed for it, so if I get it, I have to get some other equipment with good requirements too).

Why Crystal? Your adding in uneeded agility when you could use these... you get these from one of the hive merchants 2016-01-18_12.17.58.png
(Im trying to set up a water/thunder mage... can i get some tips lol)
IMO Crystal doesnt give enough walk speed and mana regen to go with such low level leggings for a high level build

He said that he used his Hive things on something else (I don't know much about the Hive since I haven't been there yet but I know that you get to choose something after each floor. He got something for one of the floors already.

Those leggings are ok... they have quite a bit higher health. But then again, health isn't part of his build. I'm pretty sure his build was more towards things like agility rather than dexterity. Also, the only good ids it has are the loot and xp bonus. But this is an endgame build, and endgame builds aren't meant to have good grinding gear. Though this would be a good armour piece to use until you get to level 100, after that crystal would win with things like skill point boosts and that reflection. The walk speed is quite good too.

Well his build was more agility based. Plus, we haven't seen his wand yet, which may have spell damage.
I myself am actually aiming for a water/fire tanky mage with a bit of strength just to boost damage.

Ah. My original build was a water/fire Mage.
Then I switched to water/fire/earth for some higher damage.
Then I switched to water/fire/air for accommodations to the pure.
Now I'm at thunder/water/fire/air with 30 agi 40 dex, 100 intelligence and all spare points going into defense. I cri

Since I've seen do many items which need both air and intel rather than fire and intel, I think I'm going to switch to water/air/fire as soon as possible. Water because mages need it badly, air because a lot of things need it and fire because mage needs defence. I would use earth but I think that fire is needed more. Air and fire do conflict a bit, but it would only be a tiny bit of fire so it would only give me a defence boost.

Mage doesn't really need defense, if you have a decent amount of health and a bunch of Intelt heal should be enough

A decent amount of items require water and thunder... Which is my future build

Maybe not... I just read somewhere of someone who was doing it and I found it interesting :P

The leggings I showed above needed both

I might just use the armor this guy is using and swag the legs... I don't really need a bunch of mana regen

Forgot that one, and that chestplate actually doesn't need much dexterity or intel... I would use that if I didn't need points for other things.

I'm currently thinking about a skill reset because of the build this guy has. Just need to get a chestplate to replace my current chestplate... (current one needs 50 defence, I'm thinking of using 38 defence in the new one at the most, probably going to use a bit less). So yeah, I'm thinking of a water/air build with a bit of fire, though the fire will depend on how much air I need for items.

When it comes to Mage rings, I highly suggest you wear Raindrop x2, it gives Mana Regen and boosts your Intelligence (I have 1, and it gives 1/4s Mana Regen and +2 Int)
