They are variables so they are no number until specified, and I used 3 of them like u said

1. Division is different
2. Exponents are not always multiplication
3. There are a lot more things that I don't know on a calculator that I did not address
3. They can still do fractions
4. Calculators are reliable, they do the same and better calculation that we do and do it faster

Division isn't subtraction or addition, it's diving a number into groups

 

4/16 16-4=12, 12-4=8, 8-4=4, 4-4=0

4/16=4

 

4/16= 1/4

We were originally saying that 19.33333333333333333333333333333333333333333[infinite](3)=58, and it has been concluded that it does and I am right so we don't need to talk anymore

One problem with this puzzle
A number is not the same thing as a digit

The "solution" 55+5=60 is wrong because 55 is a number and 5 is a number (making 2 numbers that aren't the same) but there are three of the same digits (that being 5)
