What's Dungeon Realms?

A real PvP system includes loss of gear when fighting another player, actually good rewards for killing someone and etc. You can't even put stakes into the duel so that there's a risk for losing. To be honest though, that's completely fine to not have a PvP system because wynncraft is story based. I'm just saying, they're too different games and it's really not a good comparison because both are very good in certain aspects and cater to different audiences.

 

Your taking the small tail in consideration at the bottom of the map, but despite that, a lot of people where laughing and comparing DR's map to single wyncraft biome, which obvioously is dead wrong.

 

What small tail? And on what map?

 

I have to agree with some people, at its peak Dungeon realms was Ok, It had some better things than wynncraft but overall it was worse. Now that it was brought and no one develops it, Its absolutely terrible now.

 

This was an actual thing? I really want to see this.....


I remember, a year before I discovered a video on DR, it looked pretty fun, but now I feel thankful for myself choosing to play Wynncraft a year later.

 

Thats the point of a province. Gavel isn't huge as how you're making it seem.

Looking back, I probably should have quoted the other person who said he wanted a huge, grass field as far as you could see instead...unless that was you.

 

It's so laggy? I've seen servers much laggier than wynncraft. (Okay maybe not when you're on a horse. I swear it kills me every single time because I run into a wall and the mobs kill me but... *cough*) You barely get any lag on Wynncraft. There are Pixelmon servers that have tons of lag from a few mobs (though I'm not sure it can really be compared as it's a modded server) and if you can spam meteor without lag, I'm pretty sure it's not that laggy.

 

Like @Niel stated, I feel like DR is for the more hardcore audience (ppl from WoW, for example) while WC is more targeted towards just having a casual, fun experience. I'm not saying that if you came from WoW then you shouldn't be here, because it's quite hard to get into DR.

I'm not familiar with "the peak of DR" as I haven't heard of it until I was a few months/weeks into WC (I joined in the Ocean Update).

When I actually did try out DR before it was bought, I decided to go with the Archer class (or the one with the bow). I started with a Bow, Wooden Sword, and half a stack of arrows. I won't lie, I got lost in the main city (Cyrennica?) so I decided to go out and explore. I encountered some skeletons near a farm, and dang, I do miss my spells from WC.

I think WC > DR now
