Breathing Helmet Is Junk ....?

The breathing helmet lost its Respiration ability with Gavel....what use is it for players beyond certain quests (Underwater, UnderIce quests)? I was lucky to have completed those quests before Gavel, but now I don't know how folks get by without the helmet's former attributes. The helmet is now junk, aside from the water defense stats for Lev8 players. Junk it? I don't think it can be sold either since it is a quest related item.

 

Well it was already junk except for 2 quests anyways..

 

You can make it to the end. Respiration isn't really needed.

 

You need it for the From the Mountains quest, too.....

 

oh ..... in what way? i hv not done this quest ...not sure what lev it is...

 

It's Level 67, you need it to enter a huge whirlpool to get an item.

 

So the helmet buys u extra "air" time? Or it allows u to pass thru, like the factory helmet does gor its own quest? Thnx in advance

 

1. Respiration is retained, at least for me...
2. It's better than before at least.

You also need it for quests like Underice and Beneath The Depths, as well as From the Mountains.
