Wynncraft Story [quest]

This is a story that I want to try and do. Bear in mind that this is my first time trying anything like this and I am not the best at story telling, and I tried to go through and fix any spelling or grammar mistakes.
For this thread, I will type in a part of the story and end it off with a strawpoll link so you can vote what the main character does next. I will add more explanations later on.

You hear the sea as your eyes start to open, wondering who are you and where are you. When you start trying to get up you suddenly feel as if you have been stomped on by hundreds of people. Gritting your teeth you get on your knees so you can look around better. You see that you are on a beach surrounded by broken bits of wood all around you and a snapped mast to your right. When you try and remember who you are and what happened all you can feel is nothing. As you are standing up you hear a noise.
"Mrrrmmghh"
There is a zombie stumbling his way towards you. Luckily the zombie is missing a leg so he cannot really walk. You start to look around for any sort of weapon to use against the zombie. All that you can see is a small hunting bow, a decorated stick, a hunting knife, and the broken mast.

As you can probably guess, each of the weapons some what represent a different class.

As you are looking at the weapons in front of you. You do not even bother with the mast because it is too heavy and bulky for you. And when you pick up the decorated stick... You realize it is just a decorated stick...
When you pick up the bow the string snaps and the bow is now useless.
So you pick up the hunting knife because it is the only weapon left. As you hold the hunting knife you briefly feel like you have done something like this before... But that feeling goes away as fast as it came.

When I was making the Strawpoll my first 2 polls got spam farmed going up to 240 votes. So I added a captcha.
This is how combat most likely will work through out this thread. I may change it in the future.
If you attack a monster with melee attacks. (For As melee is punching, kicking, or stabbing the mob) it has a very small chance to hit you.
While range attacks have a small chance to miss. This will cause you to lose your weapon unless you go over and get it.

You review your options,
and you are just going to run up and stab the zombie.
Because if you punched you could break your hand, and you do not think kicking will have any effect on the zombie.
Also you after re-thinking about it... its probably better not to throw your knife and lose the only weapon you have.
So you run at the zombie. The zombie tries to hit you in the head while you are running in to stab its heart. Luckily you dodge the zombie's arm at the last moment.
You then proceeded to stab the zombie in the heart. As you run away the zombie falters a little bit but looks like he can still stand. Maybe cutting the head off will kill the zombie.

Reason I did not have the character stab/cute the zombie's head off. Is because, the character is an amnesiac and would not know you have to cut a zombie's head off.
Now the character does.
Also for if the mob will hit you or not. When you get up close to attack it. Right now I am just rolling a D20 for the enemies chance to hit you, and the number you have to beat atm is 10. Later on that number will go down.
And for aiming you have to also beat 10.

Also I forgot to have your character pocket the earlier stuff...

A mast is way to big to carry around. Also this will be a little bit like Wynncraft where you have a lot of pocket space.

You rethink the options you thought of... and realize that there was no contest. Cutting the zombie's head off is really the only safe/best way to stop this fight. So, you just run up behind the zombie while it is still trying to turn around and face you. And you use your hunting knife to cut the zombie's spinal cord causing it to keel over. When you look at the zombies you see a strange green glint in its pocket... For some reason the zombie had emeralds in it's pocket. So, you just take the emeralds. Now, as you look around you. You see 2 paths. One that goes to the left and continues along the beachside, and another path that goes straight ahead of you further inland. Which road do you take?

Btw my story and wynncraft may not exactly line up in land terms...

You think about going down the beach and having a ocean view. But you think you can see off in the distance a city almost straight ahead of you. As you start your way down the path straight from your ship, you start heading up a hill to better see whats up ahead. When you reach the top of the hill you can actually see the city. You cant remember its name, but the city has a red flag flying in the air. The only thing stopping you from running all the way to the city is the zombies... If you wanted to you could just try and run straight to the city and dodge the zombies... But you will take more than a hit or two. Or you could try and walk down the path and take the zombies head on... Which will mean that you can get loot and may not get hit as much... Its not like you cant just run to the city later...

There are about 3 zombies from here to the possible city. If you try to run... all three zombies have a chance to hit you. While if you fight them 1v1 or 1v2 you can probably kill them and you will get loot. Also if you fight the zombies you may level up and possibly get new attacks...
