I've been confused by the new update.

So can I still make a skill build?
If so if I get a piece of gear will it have certain requirements for my build or just random?
If so does that mean if I get a good piece of gear I might not be able to use it?

Can I change the elemental requirement?

    1) Yes, you can! And do note that the maximum for a certain stat is now 100, though the percentage increase has been changed to compensate for this, so this is one reason why builds used in the past are not as viable anymore.
    2) Some pieces of gear may require a certain amount of skill points invested in order to wear them. Other requirements include requiring an identification, a level requirement, or a quest completion.
    3) Yes, you will have to put some thought into making your build, as there will be certain pieces of gear that may not be suitable for your skill build.
    4) You can always change your build by getting a Skill Reset.

Aha but wait there is more

Does that mean if I get a good piece of gear I potentially will have to farm for another one if it doesn't match me?

because I don't exactly want to reset my stats everytime I get something . . .

Yeah, you'll have to scrounge through quite a lot of items if they don't work with your build.
I'd suggest finalizing your build and looking up the item guide to find the items you want for your loadout, then doing some work on the Trade Market.
