Where Does The Lagg Comes From ? I Have The Answer !

Ok so if you don't believe me try this yourself but if you cast a Meteor spell in the Tower Of Ascension the server has freeze lagg, do it enough times and the server crashes.
I have tried this multiple times and it is only that spell with that class that i know off.
Spread the word so it get's fixed and to stop it until the fix !!!

Jumla is already aware of this, I believe. Trust me, I've crashed several servers trying to kill Kronos.

I actually tested this out today after I read this thread to help one guy with death, and we crashed the server two more times! So yea, don't use meteor on ToA... Crazy how much t affects the server...

Salted did say mages were getting buffed... But I didn't expect anything like this!

No wonder I got constant severe lag spikes while spamming meteor in Beneath the Depths' final boss. Sorry ^-^,

On a side note, could it be a problem with the position calculation of the meteor's trajectory and excessive particle use? Possibly the fire field effect afterwards? Or poison AOE inflicted by it? Just throwing out ideas - I do recreational programing.

I think if this is legit the actual issue is probably with meteor. I doubt its just with ToA

 

Thankfully, there was a patch that fixed this! (Salted posted it so go take a looksee. )

 

I highly believe it is when the meteor is used undeground/under the sky xd

In ToA there is no sky above it.
In Beneath the Depths it lags too.
Fighting Kronos, one meteor and you lag the whole server.

 

I use meteor all the time and it doesn't affect me when I use it outside. I haven't encountered any problems with it in the hive though either. It's most noticeable when I'm on ToA

 

Ah this must have been the problem when I was trying to kill the Quarton. I crashed the server like 5-6 times.

 

Yeah, on the outside it doesn't affect the lag, and in Hive either.
