Guide Know Your Cities - Rodoroc

First off, credit to @__Agent__ for helping me find the city. Since this is a pretty overwhelming city with no real organization, I will be organizing this city into sections. It is also underground, so no map will be created. (Unless ms paint is to be used.) Without further ado, here we go.

Blue means a merchant
Green means a bank
Red means an Identifier
Purple means other

Disclaimers:
1. Gamma will be used to better identify the houses.
2. Areas of the city seem to have their own numbering system, but it is inconsistent and as such I will be using my own.

THE DWARVEN CITY OF RODOROC

Spoiler: Southeast Rodoroc

In the very southeast of Rodoroc there is what seems to be the main entrance.

House 01 - Weapon Merchant - 1123 13 -5095 - This two story house contains a level 1 loot chest and has a back room with a decorative lava fountain. Here you can buy the "Impeccable Light Birch" tier of weapons.

House 02 - Armor Merchant - 1103 13 -5096 - Just across from the Weapon Merchant is the two-story home of the Armor Merchant. At the Rodoroc Armor Merchant you can buy the "Cloudy Diamond" tier of armor.

House 03 - 1107 13 -5057 - A two-story house with an open second floor. The first floor houses a level 1 loot chest.

House 04 - 1107 26 -5038 - On the bottom floor of this two-story house is a button that opens a chamber with a loot chest I. It appears to be a house in which nobles live.

House 05 - 1093 21 -5036 - A one-story house with everything more or less crammed into one room.

Spoiler: The Bad Neighborhood

While I am still not sure whether this is actually part of Rodoroc or not, but it is entered through it and thus I consider it a part of the city.

House 06 - 1088 12 -5011 - A run-down house full of supplies.

House 07 - 1097 12 -5014 - An expansive house, also filled with supplies.

House 08 - 1104 9 -4990 - A two-story house with crates of emeralds and a thunder spear hung up on a wall.

House 09 - 1113 9 -4984 - A large two-story house. Has many tables and a large chamber upstairs. Perhaps a library?

House 10 - 1133 16 -5006 - A large house with multiple stalls out front and crates full of supplies inside.

House 11 - 1121 12 -5017 - A large house filled with crates of weapons and armor. The second floor has more supplies and a bride to house 12.

House 12 - The Iron Curtain - 1140 15 -5019 - A two-story establishment that seems to house the "Rodoroc Peacekeepers" patrolling the area. The upper floor connects it to house 11.

Spoiler: Southwest Rodoroc

Southwest Rodoroc is pretty small, but in the very southwest there are some interesting places.

House 13 - 1085 21 -5036 - A two-story house with a great view of the rest of the city. It seems that two people live here.

House 14 - 1059 24 -5040 - A massive two-story home with an upper balcony that gives a view of the entire city. A suit of armor can be found on the upper floor.

House 15 - 1047 24 -5040 - A smaller two-story house filled with books.

House 16 - 1031 24 -5041 - A two story house with a crate and a stack of books next to it on the upper floor. *looks at build team*

House 17 - 1027 24 -5058 - A three story home with a large second-floor balcony that overlooks southern Rodoroc.

House 18 - 1038 25 -5071 - A one-room house accessed by ascending a ladder. There is a loot chest I in the house.

House 19 - 1036 25 -5081 - A massive multiple story house with "Dwarven Nobles" on the most basic level. A loot chest I can be found in the complex.

House 20 - Item Identifier - 1040 18 -5104 - An open one-room building. Here you can identify your gear.

Spoiler: Northwest Rodoroc

House 21 - Rodoroc Bank - 1018 18 -5134 - Here you can store your items and turn your emeralds into emerald blocks and vice versa. "Elvish Merchants" will randomly spawn in the area and will be killed by the "Marketplace Guards" Upon death by the guards they drop liquified emeralds that the player cannot pick up. They are a rare spawn and I have not been able to get the last hit on one thus far.

House 22 - Liquid Exchange - 1034 22-5160 - Here you can turn your emerald blocks into liquefied emeralds and vice versa. This building has four stories and numerous storages. Some ender portal parts can be found on the second floor.

House 23 - 1036 26 -5187 - A one-room house with many tables and a loot chest I.

House 24 - 1040 27 -5204 - A nice living quarters with an upper floor accessible across the hall up a ladder.

House 25 - Unstable Building - 1052 32 -5219 - This house is filled with fire, TNT, and blood. It is accessible through and upper floor window.

House 26 - 1072 25 -5232 - This house holds a full set of iron armor on the upper floor and appears to have been connected to house 25 before it exploded.

House 27 - The Broken Hammer Inn - 1090 22 -5232 - This establishment has a bar for those staying there as well as a second floor that boasts many rooms for visitors to stay in.

Spoiler: Northeast Rodoroc

House 28 - 1107 26 -5230 - A two-story house containing "Dwarven Nobles."

House 29 - Potion Shop - 1108 13 -5206 - The Rodoroc Potions shop is full of brewing stands and has an upper floor that serves as storage and housing.

House 30 - 1105 13 -5174 - This building appears to be a church or schoolhouse. However due to the unlabeled nature of it it seems that bovinism has not yet reached the dwarves.

House 31 - Scroll Shop - 1135 18 -5173 - Here you can buy a scroll to get back to the city whenever you want. The second floor appears to be storage space.

Location 32 - Item buyers - 1054 18 -5148 - Here you can sell unwanted items.

Location 33 - Secret of Rodoroc - ? ? ? - What could be behind the doors in the Southwest corner?

I was considering it, but the city isn't really expansive enough to warrant its own post. If it becomes larger or more interesting in a future update I will definitely do a post on it as it is the most exclusive city in the game. Once more high-level quests come and Ahmsord and the surrounding area are more flushed out I will likely do a joint post on Kandon-Beda and Ahmsord.

 

Bitch, that city is massive. It sprawls through paths along likr half the border of that biome. Its got a bank, the only working town in the biome, and definitely the more interesting one.

Thank you, I tried to get a good screenshot off one of the balconies but the city is too large and chunks would start unloading once I got to the other side.

 

Which biome? The floating one has Ahmsord, and the Canyon of the Lost has Thesead and Eltom...

 

Kandon-Beda is like between these two. It's in the middle of a wall. It's hard to reach (I don't even know how to enter I just teleport up) but it looks kinda cool.

 

Then it's not a biome capital.

 

Its in the Sky Island, it has no entrance to the canyon

 

Then there's Ahmsord.

 

Yes it does, at the giant green statue in the canyon. All classes can use it except assassin.

 

Thats not what thats for, and if your referring to the ability to climb up the mountain. Maybe I should put some barriers to stop the players....

There is a walkway straight from Kandom-Beda that leads to the left shoulder of that statue dude.

Never underestimate the powers of a TRUE assassin. We have a few tricks up our sleeves.
But yeah.. you're not meant to access it that way.

 

Tbh that's the only way I know how to get to Kandon-Beda. Idfk where the actual enterance is.
