Bobs Tear?

So... This kind of fits in trade market, suggestions, and the wynncraft section. So I'm just gonna put it here.
Also, if something has been changed that I do not know about, please tell me.


So, intro out of the way: I need bobs tear.

So what's the problem? Well, I am questioning if, with the new update, that's possible. Let me explain. Before the update, it has hard enough. Find bob the zombie somewhere in ragni, kill him, have a super small chance of getting the tear, fail, repeat. But with the new update, something is different. We have guard guys in ragni that kill mobs.

Could they be killing bob the zombie before the player could find him? Seems like a reasonable possibility. Also, would he even drop the tear if killed by a non-player entity? I have not seen him since the update, and I am assuming that is due to the guards.

If he was moved somewhere else or something, please tell me. It would be a big help.

But anyway, this really needs to be fixed. How are we supposed to get the tear if the guards kill him right away?

So I've been playing on server 5 and I've found him 3 times. All times he was being chased by a guard, and all times he was in the same spot in the moat. Idk if this is his new spawn point, but yeah

No longer need tear. Got tear and completed quest. Will keep thread open for other tear-needers

 

He is still somewhere in Ragni I believe.

 

Ok, so I guess I am right then. The guards are the problem?

 

Not really sure, but guards are only around the gates and on streets, Bob spawns around the houses, all over Ragni, so I don't think they can find him that easy.

 

He spawns within 95 blocks of the street outside of the scroll merchant. So yes he can be anywhere. IDK the guard spawn rates, but I have seen then in between the houses and such. SO even is he spawns away form the street, the guards are still there

 

Ouch, I'm pardonly sorry, but if it's a lot rarer than it was before, I'd kinda want to save the tears I already have ;>
But if I find a tear, I'll contact you ^^

I just walked into Ragni and immediately got it.

 

He is still around but I killed 7 and got nothing... I mean like, it needs to stop.
Is anyone selling it? I could use 1 or 2.... plz...

 

Rarest occurrence:

In ragni.

I see and emerald imp chasing a guard. I kill it.
Soon after I kill bob and get a tear.
Just after that 2 more people get tears.
WTF

 

buying 1 bobs tear willing to pay lots also a rose if someone has one

 

The guards to seem to hit Bob, but the good thing is Bob spawns every 30 seconds there. I'm also farming bob's tears and also.. how much would you give for a rose? I got some.

just get a +100% loot bonus like me and you will get more faster the tear i think (althog not all will want to carry a armor taht gives loot bonus)

My friend went AFK in the Ragni armour shop. He came back and saw Bob standing there, he looked at his health and it was 2 hearts (His max was 13 hearts). You should try to find a spot where no guards are and AFK lol xD

 

Good thought. But whos health was at 2? the zombie or the player? cuz the tears do 0 damage...
