One time, someone asked me to help them go to the ice islands. I decided to lead him/her to the right direction. When I was in the water, I looked back to see the player hover towards me, then majestically crouch down and float in the water as if nothing strange just happened. Their explanation was "high ping".

No really, how is someone so lazy that not only do they not check the map, they have the nerve to ask for help while blatantly flyhacking?!

Gavel Traveling in a Nutshell:

Some Dragon Slayer: *uses the safer and longer way, walks on the side of the mountains to get to Gavel*

 

Some robotic canine: *Uses the cheap and expensive way, uses teleport scroll to Gelibord before proceeding to walk to destination*

I have a teleport scroll to Detlas, Selchar, Llevigar, Gelibord, Eltom, Thesead, Rodoroc, and soon Ahmsord. (Level 68 going on an expidition to find out how to get rotten flesh fast)

So you got the powders... I only just got the powders by finding the relics. And on the way I found a new relic for me :D.

 

I have like eight spots in my inventory devoted solely to scrolls. It's great, I can get wherever I want so fast!

No. I only know the location of one Gavel relic, and even then, I don't know how to get in.

 

I thought you're getting the rotten flesh for ToL... and you get the powders for ToL before the rotten flesh. I just did the rotten flesh yesterday, I went to Ragni with a new class and picked up a stack of rotten flesh on the ground in Ragni. And I found the lowest levelled legendary chestplate in existence (level 8, but the thing is that by the time you have got enough emeralds for it, unless you don't buy anything else for a few levels, then you will be able to go to Detlas and buy a better and cheaper chestplate from the shop. Wynn Logic).
The only reason I can't do the quest now... is that my wand does no neutral damage. And boss elemental resistance is glitched, so yeah. But even if it wasn't glitched... I would do 17 damage with meteor according to my attacks.

 

Well in all honesty and outside of RP, I got fed up of grinding and decided to walk to the edge of Gavel. My wand does barely any neutral damage, but it does decent air damage which CoW is weak to.

 

"High ping"? No, you mean "hyping" as in HYPE!
The dude was simply just hyped for Gavel before it was cool.
