Inconsistant Thread Locking

Threads about the server being down are being locked, but only some of them?

This doesn't make sense to me. Why would you only lock SOME of the threads when they all have the exact same topic?

 

First one being locked is probably due to unnecessary tagging of admins.

Another possibility is that the mods haven't seen these threads or just don't find closing them unnecessary.

Moderators have to handle issues like this, and can tak a while. In highly professional staff teams, the mods must lock a thread, enter the locked thread and URL into a google doc with reason, and leave a message. I do not know if this is the case for Wynn, but I assume it is something similar.

It isn't! I asked the staff members a question and provided evidence. Maybe a bit too much evidence but my point still stands.

 

People have lives, that's obvious as fuck. Why make a thread stating the obvious? I rest my case.

 

They obviously had time to lock two of them, how could they miss the other 5 on the same page?

 

Why would you waste your time when another useless thread will just be made in ~5 seconds.

We dont really look at the question forum (well i dont). Also if people are legitimately confused an need an answer it wont be immediately locked if at all.
Threads like "DUDE I CANT PLAY LEME ON NOW GRIAN" have no use and are better off removed/locked.
Also we kinda do have lives and cant get to every single thread.

 

It probably has to do with the number of those threads. They will likely close them all later, likely once the server's back up, because more keep being created. Not sure why those two where locked though. Might have simply been a mod thinking they would close them all at that time, saw how many there are and said "screw it".
