So, I was over in another thread, talking about what the future of what the next Wynn story driven quest was. While we were all trying to figure stuff out, Salted joined the thread and said to check out Wynn, since Wynn was updated with some stuff as well. Well, I noticed that The wall between Almuj Desert and Ternaves was changed, and a building was put in. [https://map.wynncraft.com/#/896/64/-1473/-1/0/0] Investigating it, it looks to be a big prison. Other things were added, such as some bunkers in Almuj (if anyone images of these locations, that'd be sweet). However, to me this meant that something was going down in Almuj, specifically the military camp (the one where you gotta assassinate the general). [https://map.wynncraft.com/#/1429/64/-2279/-1/0/0]
Then I noticed a path with these added buildings, possibly leading from the Camp to the Prison by Ternaves. (see the pink path below). So then, why would there be these Soldiers trying to go to this prison over this destroyed wall? (which was moved a bit as well). Then I remembered why the gates to Gavel opened, the corruption had died down. So, looking at corruption locations (Twain Manor, ToA, Roots of Corruption) and for the most part, actually had died down. Except for the Corrupted Village, which is right next to the Corruption Mines, the source of the Corruption, which is near Ternaves. See the yellow looking path below. [https://map.wynncraft.com/#/728/64/-1291/-1/0/0] So, that could be a primary location to get some valuable ores, especially if the Corruption is dying down. But a couple soldiers wouldn't benefit from it too much. But who would? The elves told us, the villagers.
And actually, some new stuff added with Gavel, was along the ocean, including a small cove next to the Camp [https://map.wynncraft.com/#/1327/64/-2550/-1/0/0]. I don't know if the two connect at all, but it's a possible way for the soldier to get o the ocean. Now, following this wall, there are two stops. One is a small island with a cabana [https://map.wynncraft.com/#/1365/64/-3517/-1/0/0] and Port Jashaneshanesh [https://map.wynncraft.com/#/1292/64/-4050/-1/0/0]. I'm assuming, taking a trip from the Camp to the Port is two days sail, which would make sense to break at the cabana. See the cyan path below.
Now then, the Port is relatively near Ahmsord. Ahmsord has an airport, which could easily get stuff from Cinfras to Ahmsord, to be smuggled into Wynn without Detlas knowing about it. What this thing they could be getting to Wynn? I don't know. But the paths are Red and Lime below.
Hopefully the image looks okay for you guys and not super tiny.

So, there, we can get stuff from the Corrupted Mines to Cinfras. There is another Theory I thought was cool that could tie into this, and either A make you believe this more B make you believe this less. Either way, this is a stretch to even think, but it could work.
Credit to this thread for the map: https://forums.wynncraft.com/threads/new-provinces-theory-map.97552/
So, everyone know Dernal Jungle? It's the Jungle thats next to Troms. You might see where this is going, Dern. Really, this leads to the possibility of People trying to trade stuff from Dern to Gavel.
This does have a tad bit of clearance, since three of the four WynnExcavation sites are along possible paths to Dern.

Edit: So there was a bit of confusion, and I guess I wrote a better fleshed out analysis of what I had in mind in a reply, so I'm just gonna copypasta it here:
"The thing is about what the next story quest of Wynn COULD be. Gavel added a lot of structures in Almuj Desert, as well as a prison in/near Ternaves. To me, it looked like a path from the Almuj Camp to the Corrupted Mines. Which would make sense to be a viable thing, as a rebellion group need funding for their cause, and since the corruption is dying down, and the mines abandoned, and full of loot, they could easily go to the mines, and start mining again. It also allows for an easier passage to the canyon town. And, they could do all of this without Almjuj city knowing their whereabouts, as they could go around the wall.
Further along the map, along the ocean, it looks like a beach with a cove was added next to the Camp, which would allow passage to ocean. While I have no idea if the Camp and the ocean connect at that point, seeing as the Camp as a fairly large underground tunnel system, they could have a passage. So, the soldiers could take anything in and out of the Camp with out Almuj knowing. However, the only thing out in the ocean that could really beneficial to the Camp would be supplies from Gavel, as I'm certain the viking still hate each other, and Santa, Selchar, and the pirates have their thing going on. The only port that isnt really regulated would be Port Ashojojosh, the one for Fantastic Voyage (which I haven't done, and if you can add any information of the quest to me, it would be beneficial). This port looks to be fairly close to Ahmsord, which, in it's current state, seems to be a small town with an airport, and numerous tourists/adventurers that come in and go out regularly. People could easily get stuff from Cinfras to Ahmsord through the airport, without it causing too much of a hassle with the groups of people who go to Ahmsord. So, since we know the "higher ups of Gavel" have ill intentions (as seen with WynnExcavation, the Prison Escape Quest, ignoring requests to smaller village folk), they could possibly be helping this rebellion in Wynn, and sending them supplies.
Now then past this point things get hairy, as I'm taking other theories, and adding them to mine. This guy's theory was possible placement of Fruma and Dern, which I thought could work as Fruma is from behind the castle, and Dern could be next to the Dernal Jungle (which people say it's just a coincidence, but I thought it could be something worth climbing out on a limb for). Seeing as Dern has a high chance of being Ender-based, it could be that the "higher-ups of Gavel", and this rebellion group in Wynn could be getting stuff in and out of Dern. This can be further supported by the WynnExcavation sites, 3 of which are along possible routes to Gavel, one at the mouth of the Mesa, one by the House of Twain (which was struck by corruption at some point) and the Temple in Dernal Jungle."

So, what do you all think? It's a bit of a stretch but it could hold some water.

That new Ternaves building looks interesting, but is it strange that I find it weirder that the ruined part of the Almuj wall was rebuilt- and the vines weren't sheared off?

And also, I think Dern may be opposite of Fruma, because of the Dern dudes on Dead Island.

I am judging from what we know, Bob's story-line is official. So, if you correlate that to my comment, that means my expectations are not high for Gavel in any way.

    We need a bigger ocean.
We need a province to be on the East side.
We don't need a province that's 2x the size of Gavel.
We kinda need a province on the West side.
    But whatevs.

I did see that prison, but I didn't see that they finished the destroyed part of the Almuj wall. Hmmm. You can only get into the prison through the back, though. It's actually pretty creepy if you ask me.

This pair of sentences really confuses me.

That I didn't notice, but it looks like you could still get around the wall. Did they ever explain what destroyed the wall? I also thought for a while Dern would be closer to Dead Island, however, there isn't really much corruption on Dead Island, it looks more like the decay in Olux swamps. Plus, all we know about Dead Island is that an egg was found in the cave, so someone might have brought the egg to the island.

I dunno man. This Bal'ak character seems interesting, the grootslangs sound cool, the Gerts are planning something, the Elf Illuminati has some Illuminati stuff going on, the sun people have an entire world to explore, plus they have that dungeon, we still have no idea why Ozoth attacked the dwarves, we also have no clue as to what Molten Heights is for, as theres dragon nests every where, and theres that giant castle as well as a small settlement in the sky islands. Let's also not forget the Canyon of the Lost has a ton of caverns that may not even been found yet full with stuff. Seeing as only the first half of Gavel was released thus far, we have one hell of a ride coming for us.

We really cant confirm of deconfirm that, we don't know why it's called the Dernal jungle.

I don't get why the placement of each province matters, I'm not even the one who made the RectangleDream image. I just painted arrows. And really, Gavel looks to be the largest Province on the diagram, so idk where the Province twice as large as Gavel thing came from. And I'm confused about your Rymek comment.

    Two things about the jungle:
    1. I'm pretty sure that it's called the Dernel Jungle, just that some people thought it was connected to Dern so they changed the name. Not sure though.
    2. As the admins have said many times before, the Dernel Jungle has nothing to do with Dern. It's just a coincidence that they were named similarly, just like with Ba'al and Bak'al.
Also, the one thing we actually know about Dern which has been confirmed is that it is a mysterious province which is south-east of Wynn. We don't know where exactly, but the lore mentions something about the emerald mines. Note that in the emerald mines there are WynnExcavation crates. WynnExcavation wanted great power, so at one point they were trying to reach Dern based on the information of the Legend of Wynn. And since they were correct about all of the crystal locations, then I'm assuming that Dern is right behind those mines. As for where the rest of Dern is, I'm not sure though I think it is quite possible that it will be south of the jungle. But ToA and the House of Twain, sources of Corruption? No? Neither of them have many signs of Corruption. ToA is just a challenge set up for those who are brave enough to face it and the House of Twain is just cursed. And Darkness is not necessarily Corruption. In fact, the lore of WE says that when Light and Dark clash, Corruption is created. So they can't be the same. Also, Wynn is just a battleground for the forces of the world. And I'd be surprised if Gavel had ties with Dern.

Yes, with Fruma certainly. Because humans come from Fruma (or is it Frumans?) and the humans got their magic from the Villagers. We can cast our first spell in the starting area, which is before we enter the Wynn province. So yeah, they must have some sort of ties with Fruma.

ToA and House of Twain both had roots of corruption growing their, though they were significantly smaller. ToA's were along the base, but appear to have been frozen over. House of Twain's were very small, only a few yards tall, and they look kinda sick to me, like, something there killed them. If I implyed they were sources of corruption, I had no intention to imply that, only that there were signs of corruption there.

First of all, it's not a good idea to copy someone else's map without giving them credit. Both maps are from different people. Please cite your sources.

Now this whole thing you are talking about is what exactly? Paths to Dern? Well, as someone who studied Dern a lot, let me tell you there are only 2 spots that seem like they could lead to Dern.

The abandoned mines and gateway island. The miners were digging in the mines when they found Dern, and well,Mohave you completed the fantastic voyage quest? Like seriously man. The jungle gas nothing to do with Dern. Neither does the canyons.

At least try to give evidence to what you say. Just saying "soldiers might have sent ores back via airship" legit gives no evidence. You could say "monkeys fly out of the King of ragni' but every full moon" and have the exact level of evidence you are giving. Come on man. At least try.
