So i know this is probably not the best place to put this, but i was just wondering if any of you knew of any sites that can teach me a bit more programming than code.org, because i have basically done everything on that site, but i'm still not ready to do real programming in like Java and C++.

Ohh, and if you know any videos or something that provides some insight into how to use either of these two programming languages, please let me know, thanks. :saltedhappy:

    There are a few options...

    • Watch some tutorials online
    • Attend a school which teaches programming
    • Do random stuff and hope it works! >^<
    • Use a tutorial-website

I'm pretty decent at programming, and I basically learnt everything off youtube. XD Though yeah, if you try to do that you'll also want to use some other websites as well, because they'll probably use a better way to teach you. Also most of the good ones cost money if you want to do the advanced courses.

I also had a lot of trouble with Java, especially since I had no clue how Object-oriented Programming exactly works. I did the PHP course on codecademy, which taught me the basics of OOP.
A while after that they released a Java Tutorial, that helped me a lot. I'm now able to write Bukkit/Spigot plugins, which is really cool and fun to do :)

I would advice you to just do the Java Course, and not start with PHP (unless you want to do PHP as well)

Who needs OOP anyways, when one class can have a few thousand lines! ^_^
