    Yeah, well, I'm really regretting that now that I threw away almost all of the items which were "Untradable" to save space in the bank. I just wish I could have more space in the bank, really.

    I didn't receive my map in this state. The one I got was actually the right one but after holding onto it is became what it currently is. Also, is it legal for me to be in possession of it?

    No, it is not. It was given to you in the game. I would recommend maybe going and sell it to that merchant, but do not sell it to anyone else.
