What Happened On 9/7?

Hey guys, i see a bunch of signatures that say RIP 9/7, or "Survivor of 9/7. I would imagine it was in 2015, as thats when I took a big break from Wynncraft, and I didn't have a forum account back then, so idk what happened. Would someone mind enlightening me on what happened?

The forums got completely wiped.

 

In short words all the threads got deleted for unknown reasons, many like/message counts where altered.

 

All threads were erased from the forums, affecting the message/like ratio of many users, because SOMEONE *glares at Tama* spilled their coffee.

9/7 was on 7th of September 2015 when jumbla dropped his coffee and the forums went UH OH

 

The event several people refer to as 9/7 (or 7/9 if you are a normal person, hue) was when all the threads got removed. The staff never gave detailed reports on to why it did happen, but most people like to blame Jumla.

(If you did not guess, 9/7 means September 7th)

Not really. You say "September 7th". It's very rare to hear someone say "The 7th of September."
We just put the numbers in the order we say the date.

That is the only time I ever hear anyone say the date like that.
It's easier to say it the other way, so most people do.

Well, in every country on the planet except for America people say "The 7th of September" as much if not more than "September 7th".

When I think about it, that's true. In Sweden, the way you say 7/9 is "the seventh in the nineth". You do it the other way around, making the numbers turned around. Also, that sounds much better in Swedish. It just doesn't sound right in English.

So, here's how the dates work out. In America, we always put the month before the day, and our system looks like this: month/day/year
Confusing, compared to the rest of the world (it really doesn't make sense).

So here's how the rest of the world does things: day/month/year
Makes more sense, if you're thinking about it.

So, 9/7 in the American system is September 7th
But 9/7 everywhere else is July 9th

But, the forums wipe happened September 7th
So everywhere else it would be 7/9
