Why do you think he is called death and has a scythe?!?!?!?! It's death.. like m8 death chooses when people die. "All" Does not mean he has a choice to spare or kill everybody in the world... it means that he brings the end of like to all people. He chooses how and when people die... the player would not make sence because this is a mmo's here there are thousands of players and all of these warriors are npc's

 

Bob is number five, remember how he "Died" fighting that dragon that was going to destroy wynn? that was the greatest test, deciding whether we die or live

 

Ehh... It kinda sounds more like it's a single magnitudal choice where either everything stays the same or it's game over. I don't know about you, but that's just my take on this. But maybe we should stop this before it goes from a flame skirmish to a flame war :p

I don't think that was the dragon. Siwel said the dragon was vanquished by a warrior from Ragni, but it's clearly not Bob, since he was a multiclasser and it was confirmed that he didn't kill the dragon. Perhaps you're on to something with the letters, though... That may relate to this.

So I havent played Wynn for a loong time until Gavel came out, so lemme ask you this:
Who the heck is bak al?!

 

Sorry for the blurry picture, but it's this guy. Evidently he's extremely powerful and the leader of something called the Horde.
He was also the owner of that face in one of the earlier Gavel teasers.

 

So... is he an actual ingame character or just a lore-character?

 

the player is probably number 5 with the introduction of split path quests and in deaths mansion if you go around death tells you that the large hour glass tells you how long the world which teases some very important quest involving this down the line

 

Pretty sure he's both, I'm just barely reaching the level where the cutscenes start appearing so I haven't seen him in-game myself.

There aren't any quests with cutscenes before Taproot as far as I know.
