    So i have two questions:
Why is the king of ragni a villager?
And why do NPCs get a "Quest NPC" prefix no matter if they're in a quest or not? couldnt we just remove the prefix?

good point on the king. But for the quest npc tag, it just means you can talk to them

I know that it means you can talk to them, but it would be easier to understand if they are actually essential to your quest or not if they just removed the tag, but kept the green name, people would still understand that you can talk to them, and also understand if they were essential to any quests.

    1. Villagers came to the Wynn Province before the humans(us) came, so it would make sense if they established cities and settlements here, plus cultures and all sorts of villager-stuff they bought from Gavel(their homeland). That's why Ragni and Troms are ruled by villager kings, not humans.(unless they assassinated them)

    2. Quest NPCs have their tag to make newbie players able to spot them/differentiate them among other friendly mobs. It also means you can interact with them as someone said above, to get either helpful or useless information.

wrong. They came before the players came form Fruma, but humans in general were in wynn much before the villagers. Villagers came to Wynn just over 10 years before present day. The only way the villagers would be kings would be if the human kings married villagers and had villager princes

Okey, but couldn't they at least remove the "Quest" and leave the "NPC" tag, then everyone would be cool with it, right?

This. I'd like to see more NPCs with just a 'NPC' tag that give commentary and information, and aren't involved in quests.

Going to be honest here, the only reason we have this is because we're just abusing the quest system to make those NPCs work. Essentially, the game still registers them as an ordinary quest NPC, but we've just done a bit of trickery to make it so that no matter what, they always say the same message.

Thanks for the explanation, but isn't there any way to just like, remove the "Quest" in their tag without affacting anything about them?
    Thanks for the support :D

Probably not without a ton of work from the devs.

Seems pretty simple code to me, but you're the mod, i won't argue :p

Edit: Wait... is it possible to just make the name of the NPCs that you can talk with, but are not essential to quests, blue?
