Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

They watch you as you leave.

The flight is uneventful, though it feels like it took longer than usual.

 

(Assuming I've arrived in the Darklands) Once in the Darklands, I fly towards Fellak in the centre of the plains. I fly towards the palace in the centre.

 

OOC: Re-reading the Darklands lore...

You feel many watch you as you make towards your destination. Again, something feels off about the travel time.

 

"Maybe... Just a second." I teleport back to Rogue's house, steal take their tablecloth, and teleport back.
OCC: Couldn't think of anything else :|

 

Upon returning, another draconian in a crimson robe (and tons of weapons) is kneeling beside her, chanting something in what you presume is their native language.
"I got out early." She mutters. "Thanks anyways."

 

I incinerate the cloth. "Grr... Fine, who attacked you?"

 

"I can't read who broke her seal."
Ihra's blood vaporizes as the chant continues. Her wing mends itself, and the other draconian watches as Ihra moans.
"Hon, scout the area next time."
"Mnnnnnngh... Muh... mother?"
"You'll make it."

 

OCC: She came fast...
"You're... Guess I should go then." I teleport to Drakenfell to get the Dragon Riders.

 

OOC: Depends on how you bend your perspective of time.

I have/had homework, and my friends want to play League with me. I'd be on more otherwise.

Upon arrival, things seem... unusually silent.

 

I look around below me to see if anything is wrong.

 

Nothing looks off... Maybe it was your imagination?

A few of the inhabitants look at you, concerned.

 

I decide to land in front of the palace and I ask the guards, "Is the King busy? I need to speak to him."

 

"No, he shouldn't be."
"Not that we know of. Is something wrong?"

 

"Nothing that the Darklands cannot handle but the King needs to be notified by me."

 

"Understood. We will go let him know..."
"He's our god, you fool! Don't tell him what to do! - Ah... My apologies. He's not busy at the moment."
They part, one walking in ahead to notify the King.

 

I enter the palace and go straight to the throne room.

 

As you enter, the King notices a bit of urgency in your pace.
"Is something wrong? You... Smell of battle."

 

"Yes, I guess I would a bit. Let's go to your study and I will explain more." I go to the study.

 

Upon arrival, he keeps some distance, looking cross.
"You have my interest... What event required you personally in battle?"

 

"Have you heard of the... rifts?"
