Its not. but you try to make yourself sound like your so much better than everyone else because an ex-wynn builder gave you build tips. Who was it anyways? Im interested if I ever heard about them. :)

Each block has a situation where it can be used. Just, some have less applications than others. It's nothing to fluff about.

In my opinion, the first build jungle wood clashes too much with the Dark oak. Perhaps changing the jungle to oak or spruce? Another solution might be to place granite somewhat closer to jungle wood? The next thing after careful observing is the canopy is a bit odd in places. But, I suppose that can be looked over.

On the next build, the farm is too chaotic in my opinion. The roof just requires just a tiny little more work.

You can use granite, the way you used it was decent as well, though it's more of an accent block (Seen below)

Also, try to use blocks that pop together, I know you were given a pre determined palette. If they all blend together, it's just this ugly mish-mash. Also, try to use less trees so that you can show off the build really well, close up pictures don't look very great. Try to make your builds a little bigger, while smaller builds are nice for showing off compact detail, they aren't impressive unless done 100% correctly.

I'm not the greatest builder, but here are my tips I hope you learned something ;)

Granite and Diorite are good. The grey one combined with stone is perfect. The white one combined with gravel.
