I'd like to buy one Stalag, Adamantine, Crystal, Blue Mask, and Ethereal. That would normally total to 16.5LE, but would you mind giving a group discount down to 15LE? I'm running a wee bit low on LE, and 4 seems a bit steep for Ethereal imo.

Bartering is when you offer to buy something with a form of payment other than the standard currency. What I did by asking for a discount is known as haggling.

If, however, he meant no haggling either, I'd (reluctantly) be willing to pay full price.

Yes, you can get those.

You'd be surprised how powerful Ethereal is. It lasted me until about Lv 86. No price reduction if you can manage, but if you're going for a build that utilizes Ethereal, Stalagmites may not be the best armor for you anyhow so you could probably just skip on them.
