A Thanks To The Content Team

A wise old sheep who owned a server once told me:
"Making a forum for the server was the worst idea ever, the forum makes the server look bad. When people have something bad to say or something to complain about, they'll post all about it on the forum but when they enjoy the game and love it they do nothing!"

Sadly, what he said is true. I myself have been guilty of doing so too many times. This will not be one of those times.

A big thanks to The Content Team for making Gavel so beautiful, filling it with monsters that are unique , writing quests and lore that will entertain us for hours and perhaps even teach us a thing or two, making tons of awesome items and 3D Models for them, creating a sweet ass texture pack , fabricating new elemental systems and powders. All these things have revolutionized gameplay on this wonderful server and I am glad to admit that you guys have made things way better beyond my expectations . A Thanks is probably not enough for you guys. The most i can do is play your game i guess, since i have come to believe thats what you made it for... :P

Another thing: I have no idea what magic you guys work but i have almost 0 lag on the server now! :D

 

The server is amazing! I've loved the server from the beginning but this update is just fantastic! the quests are so much fun and require people to actively think about how to complete them. The item system is beautiful and will take all of us a while to get use to but it will all be for the better. Thank you guys so much!

You mean the content team that worked their asses off to provide hundreds of unique items, a huge map, neat secrets and 50+ quests? Yeah, screw those people. I could do better than them blindfolded.

He is right.

All we have done is been pissed and angry about all the cancelled Gavel realease dates. Some people might think making a map 3x the size of wynn and doing all the code can be done with a wave of a magic wand. It can't. The Wynn Content team wants to give us 100% Good Quality, and still we make fun of the Gavel realease date. So the public got Gavel and some were pissed with the bugs and lag, (and some lost their armour because they didn't read a post so they decided to blame the content team) and so they asked for Gavel and got it, and did they care if it had bugs to be fixed? No. They just ranted on for the content team to realease it. Reminder these are real people. Not A.I, people, and they spent their time to make us Gavel, heck maybe we don't deserve this for they way we treated them, but they insist to give it to us anyways.

To the Content Team... Thank You!

 

The only thing I am stunned about is how majority of Gavel's quests are just so much better than the old ones.
The items are great and all, but the quests are just stunning. I mean, this is still Minecraft!

 

I know the quests are amazing and everything is! but i am quite disappointed cuz of the improved bosses not being in this expansion. But those are just details ;)

 

I'd like to assume that Salted and Jumla are working a lot to get them in. We might need ideas for better spells and AI.
