OK, don't post nicefind.avi in the comments because this is kind of a hype thread I guess.

 

I don't quite see how the name of the thread macthes the actual info of it.

 

There are wynnic on the back of the wynncraft sign that reads out 'war of the realms'

The information you have found is correct. The 'realms' talked about are the Realms of Light and Darkness. Great info can be found in the quest dialog from WynnExcavation Site D, the rhymes from Memory Paranoia, the talks with the Sol Embassy in Aldorei Valley, and the messages in the Realm of Light quests.

There appears to be some form of decay, or corruption (decay in Gavel, corruption in Wynn), that is invading the good and pure. The Wynn storyline is fleshed out, with the C.o.W. being the head of Corruption, chained by Bob, and stopped by us, the player. In Gavel, the quest Taproot reveals the start of Decay, with some odd caterpillar arising out of a crack in the ground. Perhaps the same one seen in the Gavel teaser?

We shall find out eventually, when the Content Team gets around to releasing the Gavel Storyline./
