When i look in a certain direction, I lag to 0-1 FPS. Normally i get 40-50 FPS. There are some places i found that this happen: in the underwater quest on the boat, time valley near asher, and in llevigar in multiple places. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I use minecraft 1.8 with optifine

Are you sure there isn't a lot of mobs or buildings in that direction?

I don't think so, especially since theres a place in the middle of the ocean that does this in the underwater quest.

I think this may be to do with the Wither which follows you. The Wither will have to be in a certain direction from you. Also about Llevigar, I find Llevigar nearly as laggy as horse riding or going into Nivla, so it's probably because Llevigar is very big.

It's always stationary, always in the same exact spot. Its probably a block where something is bugged within the block, so the computer doesn't know what to do.

You could try reloading your chunks with F3+A. Usually solves the problem for me.

It happens every single time, in a specific spot, in a specific direction. Also, i just tried loading it without optifine, mc 1.8.8, nothing works; It's all the same.

    40-50 FPS regularly? Ew

Ok, so this might be happening because of lots of mobs or big builds in a direction. :DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDd

So when you use F3, this appears. Look at the circled area. C = The number of chunks loaded. I currently have 27 loaded, and at one time, I had 400.
E = Entities loaded. I currently have 41 loaded, and at one time, had 173 loaded.

Try checking those two numbers at the lag spots. If it isn't one of those, I don't know what it could be.

Well, I certainly found something interesting. I tried looking at a known spot in the guild hall, and... well, as you can see...

Me looking next to the spot:

Worth noting that No settings were changed, simply looked at one place, screenshotted, turned around screenshotted.

C was between 30-60 and E was 30-40. idk what P is though.

    Minecraft:
It's not anything wrong with the server, minecraft, or your computer. It's really simple: the computer is doing more work when you are looking in that direction, whether you can see it or not. The way rendering works is incredibly complex (for example: it's magnitudes harder for a computer to render transparent materials than solid ones), and at times your computer can't optimize what it is rendering and ends up doing more work than it needs to.

There's no solution to this other than turn video settings down or run it on a more powerful computer. It's not the server's fault, it's on your end and it's just how computers work.
