Staff Ranks?

How do you get a staff rank?

 

The only staff ranks you can apply for are GM (Game Master) and Builder. Builders are self-plan story; they build all of the map and visual content. Gamemasters create the story, quests, items, and mechanics of the game. Both require lots of work and time. You can apply at katoa.ca/apply

If you're talking about moderator or admin, those are handpicked. You can't apply for those ranks.

So if i want to be GM/Mod, how do i get it? Or at least. (I know its not just to press on a Sign ing. xD

 

A GM and a Mod are two very different positions. Game masters need to have a lot of creativity and a sense of balance and immersion to provide for quests, items, storyline, and ideas. Moderators keep watch over the community and take action when necessary.

You cannot apply for Moderator. You have to be chosen by the admins to become one.

To get mod, there are three things you should do to INCREASE YOUR CHANCES, not actually get it. First, be a kind and helpful member of the Wynncraft community. Second, don't break any of the Wynncraft rules. Finally, don't ask for mod. Asking for mod REALLY decreases your chances.

To get GM, find the application thread in the Wynncraft News (or maybe it was rules?). There will be a link. Select GM applications and fill out ALL of the application form (idk if there are optional things, but completing optional sections will probably increase your chances). Then wait for a while. Applications can often take up to two weeks, though they could actually take a month. If you haven't been told that you have been accepted, then you have been denied. It takes more time for them to reply to everyone, so they only reply to people they have accepted. If you do this, make sure to include lots of examples and to make as many as possible. Remember, only do this if you think you will be active (be on everyday at the least). A lot of GMs who they used to accept then turned out to be really inactive.
