Mythic Items...

So I was looking at @Hyprosis 's market thread for no reason, and then I see this

These mythic items are probably what this quote is referring to, but according to Hyprosis, he bought it from someone else.....

The question is, how rare are these items, do they even appear on the item guide? (Damn thing never works for me)

Does anyone else here have a mythic item, post a screenshot or something, these things are getting me very curious......

I bought it from another player, yes. That other player got it from a mob drop, I believe. I'd love to own more Mythic items, it would make sense if the Bob's items were mythic too, and the hive items

 

Kinda amazing how weak the mytic wand lvl97 is tho. I have an lvl 100 unique wand that is stronger. I mean -273 spell dmg thats all the power a mage has.

 

I think it's kind of a gimmick wand because of its ridiculous base damage. It looks like it's meant to be a wand that performs in its basic attacks. And the 400 earth damage would scale really nicely with a lot of strength. It's just meant to be played differently. Overall, it's still a good weapon.

Is this 6th tier only for weapons or armor to does anyone know?

 

Thats true it is a good weapon but not as amazing as you would expect a mythic weapon to be. Just take the unique cyclone lvl 100 wand as an example it does 100 air damage and its a fast weapon. That comes close to the mythic slow based dmg not 100% but i would expect an bigger diffrence. And then take the fact that mage is the weakest class the weapon is kinda meh.

 

I definitely see your point, but this weapon has the capability to deal upwards of 610 damage per hit. The attack speed may be bad but it's definitely going to have more dps even if it doesn't hit as fast as cyclone. And the only reason mage has the weakest normal attacks is because it's weapons are almost always more spell-based and don't do a lot of damage. A more powerful weapon such as this one solves that problem, but balances things out by nerfing your spell damage. In the end, it's just a weapon that shouldn't be used as a mage, but it's definitely not bad.

 

Yeah but im still kinda disappointed as I mostly play as an mage then all of the sudden this new awesome tier of items is introduced and the mythic endgame weapon for mage misses 100% the playstyle for most of the players that play with mage.
EDIT: guess I have to deal with it.

 

I've seen a +400(something)% spell dmg mythic wand for mage. That wand is good because of its poison dmg... (253 every 3 seconds)

 

And i have trouble finding decent gear for my level that i can actually use, and you guys are getting the ultimate tier gear.

honestly id love the pure wand, but its attack is so low :I if it was super attack speed id accept but its normal, and the only way ive seen to get faster attack speed, is a dumb amulet that trades like 80% of ur attack strength both meelee and spell just to attack faster :I

id definitly use this wand if my mana was low, or to grind though, id use it as a secondary wand. other then my primary one

 

FYI, there is a 1 in a million chance to get a mythic drop, if not rarer.
