EDIT: Done cows. How on earth does the Guardian puzzle work?

 

While the NPC tells you to lead them back...

no. You have to KILL the cows and collect their parts (each cow drops a different part).

 

Kill them you should get an escaped cow hide/leather, an escaped cow eye and escaped cow beef

 

Murder Them All

 

You have to kill them, I wish that it said in the quest book (Dead or alive) :P because I thought they weren't following due to lag.

 

Where is the cow that drops the beef?

 

There is one behind the house, and to the north, and in a cave close to the house.

 

KILL IT WITH FIREEE

As for the Guardians. Kill the Guardians. They will drop their color with a certain amount. Not every guardian will drop something, so the ones that do drop will be part of the code. The amount that each guardian will be in which place you click the buttons.


If I recall correctly, the order went [This may not be the correct order, but I am sure these 4 colors are used in the code: Pink (1), Light Blue (2), Yellow (3), Green (4)
