SPOILER Headless Hunt Quest With X3 Exp = Insane Leveling

So I was just trying to find a quest to do and I found the Headless Hunt quest (lvl 64+) I was about to finish the quest and I threw an exp bomb so then it became x3 exp once i finished the quest my chat went crazy saying lvl up! I leveld up from lvl 64 - lvl 72. I don't know if I should make the prefix spoiler or guide but if you people want to lvl up quickly do this quest with 3x xp on :D

But that is strange.

 

Same just happened to me, I'd say it is a bad thing rather than a good thing because now I have to go fins a bunch of level 70 gear...

The reason it happens is because the quest is intended to level you up to 65 or 67 to avoid excess grinding, but with double/triple xp it just gives you a crazy amount of levels.

 

I meant to say lvl 64 - 72 :P

I already have my endgame so i'm happy I have to get all the items for ToL now on my other classes I had time to collect but now no time ;/

If you think that's crazy, you need to finish Eye of the Storm with triple XP. Alone, without any bonuses, it already gives 700,000...

I will actually tell you that almost all Quest XP rewards have been nerfed in the latest patch.
We found out that over 1/2 of the Gavel Quests gave over 2x the XP they should!

In fact, it is. The final boss at the end has around 40,000 to 50,000 health. I stocked up on around 8 health potions; used them all up during the fight. The last moment was intense for me, since I had only around 1000 health left with no potions, but the boss was really low as well. Barely defeated him.

 

Sweet. As cool as it was to get so much xp it was a little too much. Made it too easy.

 

To be fair I was using level 50 weapons and armor since I leveled up so fast... Xd

Now that you know that quests have too much XP due to faults by GMs (which will be fixed this night), it is now in fact a bug.
However, seeing as quests are a thing you are supposed to do (or can do), it isn't exactly a bug you can not do.
That is why doing most quests is for now in fact in the greyzone of abusing bugs.

Quests like Flight in Distress, Memory Paranoia and "???" are not affected by the patch. This means they always gave the correct amount of XP, and that they are not in a greyzone.

Yeah, that's all fine. After the patch, all quests will be fine again.
