    So wait what caused it? I don't get how using xp bombs would be using a glitch. (I didn't throw any, but still)? And are they going to fix whatever the problem is and bring it back?

    it does go into x3, but there are glitches to make it x4, and x5. can go up even more just harder to do.

    To be honest, isn't that the point of double xp week? To have people throw xp bombs to get 3x the xp? All they have to do is patch the bug making it 4x, then everyone's happy. I personally would try and find servers with double xp bombs to get 3x the xp from grinding, and if I was one of the reasons for the double xp week to end, then that makes absolutely no sense.

    I believe the devs won't be so upset over a single glitch abuse and end double exp week so abruptly. It's either that they patch up and fix the glitch and warn/ban the abusers, and give double exp back so the entire community won't go mad or be dicks and ruin double exp week just because of a glitch abuse.

    I'd hope they pick the first option.

    Honestly, the double XP kind of ruined the manageability of quests for me. For every quest I completed, I got 3 more to do. Seriously, headless hunt with an XP bomb got me from level 65 to 73 (8 levels!). I keep trying to finish the quests near me (as in, Gavel quests) but I level up too fast to do the Wynn quests ._. #1stWorldProblems

    I got from 68-82 with 2 quests but for one of them I had triple exp cause of a bomb. Now I gotta crap ton of quests.

    Additionally, when I tried to ask staff about this, they retorted with "Use common sense" without actually giving a reason.

    EDIT: It's back apparently. Great!

    You didn't do it, so that there would be one less person contributing to the lag problem, and freeing up one more server space for someone else to take advantage of it. It was a noble gesture of sacrifice, and for that, for those of us who remain to kill mobs, complete quests, and explore Gavel on 2X XP, we say unto you "Thanks. I'd stay to talk, but I'm too busy having fun. See ya when you get back." :innocent:
