Everyone's Having Fun, And I Can't Even Play ;-;

Hey peeps, it's Toxicdrule. Jeez, haven't done a post in the main forum for ages, have I?
So, I'll get right to it. This is neither a complaint post, nor a spam-crap thread (even though its beginning to look like one ._.) I guess this could be an update on why I'm not active ATM.
I'm finding it difficult these days to go on the forums, and watch other people explore the wonders of Gavel, while I'm stuck just watching.
"But Mr Drule-of-the-Toxic," you may ask, "What's the problem? Can't you go online and enjoy Wynncraft's brand spankin new update like everyone else?"
To give it to you short, no, I can't. Due to how awful my internet connection is right now, plus my increasingly old computer finding it difficult to run games in the first place, Gavel is unreachable for me. Which sucks, because like the rest of the older players who have been here since Wynn got popular, I've been waiting on this update for a looong time.
There is hope, though. In the coming year of 2016 (or sooner) I will be getting a laptop that's better than my current PC, and then an even better custom Desktop rig later on. (Hopefully.)
So, in short, I will be playing more often, but it'll be when I actually have something that can run Gavel nicely.

Not much else I can say about this, can I? Alright, how about we keep the conversation going. Comment if you've gone through something close to this with a previous computer. Or not, doesn't really matter.

 

My old computer had trouble running games, then windows crapped itself and got the .lnk file association bug, so I did a soft reset, which apparently disabled Norton, causing Windows Defender to attempt to run, leaving my computer exposed while one antivirus loaded and the other turned off. A virus got on the computer and destroyed it from the inside, corrupting the hard drive. So I got a new computer that can run games like a god. So, thanks Microsoft, I guess? You got me a new computer by failing at programming.
