This isn't something with the clocks but i found a Third Stone Tablet the other day, it has weird symbols and is untradable. (LOTEM PLIZ CLUE WATZ DAT PLOX)

Umm I know you deem the door of time irrelevant, but someone said the door opened... But the coal behind you does not TP you. So since the door opened, perhaps it will TP you if you have all the clocks!

 

I was one of the first to see the door is opened on the map when they were updating the server ^^ I think it's not linked but you are free to think what you want ! :p The only thing I'm sure is the fact that is not linked to any quests.
